The Labyrinth of Grisaia - This special had some real fucked up shit, but it handled everything well. I'm really impressed with the storytelling as they showed everything he had to go through after losing his sister (the best sister
Calling you out on this. The episode literally ran like an infant talking about their vacation, plenty of Then this happened, then this happened then this happened, but I guess that that is all you can really do when your protagonist has as much emotional depth as concrete. The director really seems to think you can go "look at this atrocity, now treat us like a grown-up-anime" but really it just seems childish focusing on the event exclusively and ignoring it's implications. It is really 'macabre for kids' or whatever equivalent you want to draw since these events probably wont even mean anything except fanservice to the story that will unfold except maybe the child soldiers bit. Now this "best sister" you claim is completely hilarious as she really is one of the worst anime character archetypes, the "I can do anything amazingly because I am a prodigy or just because" and history shows these characters rarely ever undergo any kind of development and really exist for some kind of power fantasy. From Grisaia no Kajitsu we even know this to be true.

The Labyrinth of Grisaia: I liked it. Was nice to get to know more about Yuuji's past and what he had to go through. Nicely portrayed, and I especially love the relationship he had with his sister. Overall really good content for the 48 minutes this special had. Looking forward to Rakuen.
By the way, the kiss scene was so <3

I enjoyed Grisaia as well. Looking forward to see what else this show will offer.

Also gonna change Yahari ore love comedy to Green

As heartwarming as a priest and an altar boy.

I feel kind of sorry that you had no fun with it, since it was clearly the best so far.

I don't know, you also said that Chuunibyou and Amagi Brilliank Park were among the best KyoAni Shows given the have done Full Metal Panic season 2 and Fumoffu, Kanon 2006, Clannad AS, Hyouka I even prefer Munto.
Really based on what you recommend here and on on your profile I'm pretty sure I can conclude I have seen more and have a finer palate for anime than you.

If I understand correctly, you think that the opinion of people who watched less than you is of no value? If so, I don't think that is the case. In my opinion, it doesn't matter if you watched 50 titles or 500, a single opinion isn't worth a lot, that's why we have this thread here.

Yes and No, someone who has seen more is going to have a greater grasp on what is original in anime and what is cliche and ordinary. There are always going to be those newer fans engaged by the newest harem, moe or super bloody action show that has been copy-pasted hundreds of times. Not saying a rookies opinion is worth less just that an experienced fan has more context to draw upon.

I haven't seen these shows you listed, so I can only say that Chuunibyou and Amagi Park are the best out of what I've seen. Judging by your responses to most people on this thread, it doesn't like your taste is any better or in line with ours. On second thought, it doesn't sound like you've had fun with anything you watch, so I think I'd be better off with the ability to enjoy shows. Also why do you care so much what other people like.

I am really behind this season, so going to try to be quick about things.

Baby Steps 2: You know it feels really awkward when you have boatloads of Americans and even an Indian speak JP (Admittedly I know an Iranian who knows fluent JP irl). As much as I like the mc's attitude, he is not very fun to watch because of his still relatively slow growth and lack of anything that amazing.

Dungeon ni Deai o Motomeru no wa Machigatteiru Darou ka?:
They slowed down the pace in ep2, so I think all is well now.

Grisaia: I am not sure what is worse, watching a special with many plot holes and semi forced drama, or read an extremely wordy novel with characters I don't care about... Well I never liked Grisaia, and this was no exception.

Hello!! Kiniro Mosaic: I seriously needed a moe show this season, so this meets all my needs.

Kyoukai no Rinne I really feel how poor the mc was, was an overplayed joke. It got irritating for me quite quickly.

Plastic Memories: I seriously can't care much about effectively killing a person that you signed 10 years ago to be killed today. It was bascially like watching someone else's pet die. I know it means something to the owner, but for me with little attachment, I am not sure what type of emotional response I can give. Add on forced jokes and super expected drama to end episode, and you have a very boring show.

Punch Line:
I don't even know how to describe how amazed I felt at someone trying to execute fanservice this badly/awkwardly.

Re-Kan!: The jokes lost their appeal and the backgrounds are still awful, dropping.

Show By Rock!!: Episode 2 didn't really add much to this show. A plotline that is barely established, very simple/expected jokes, and now a very egotistical boy band were added, none of which appeal to me.

Tesagure! Bukatsumono Spin-off Purupurun Sharumu to Asobou: There were actually 2-3 parts in this show that I found funny, but when everyone started talking together, the dialogue was incredibly hard to follow. In addition the art here is terrible. It is hard to like this show when you aren't liking 75% of the jokes and 100% of the art.

Because I disagree and I have the affirmation in my beliefs to be willing to say it, I don't care about this animes are sacred view some seem to have. If you enjoy shows go ahead but don't recommend them if you cannot see them for their pros and cons. I'm not going to give an anime a free pass without having good characters and an engaging plot as is said in my signature.

I really don't think the first episode was intended to be bawl your eyes out drama, more intended to show how the job goes. However the second episode really bothered me since Isla is just so boring and a huge burden for the series at this point.

Sorry but I'm not gonna do things any differently because you said so. If a show is good I'm saying it's good, vice-versa, etc.

They obviously speak english there, it's just jp for viewers.

Duh.

Wait, slow? You know it's pretty friggin AMAZING to be playing tennis on equal terms against aspiring pros who played their whole lives when you're 2 years into it? Do you expect some kind of miraclous magical training that gets you above everyone else in a week? Come on, he's still growing at a scary pace.

I meant slow plot wise. Obviously if you were to learn tennis to that level in 2 years, you would be considered a genius. However, their slightly accelerated of real life doesn't really work when the viewer has 13 episodes to check their growth. I guess since I am so used to watching these more unrealistic shows, going back to something more realistic feels slow.

The protagonist for Mikagura Gakuen got less annoying but there still seems to be no real kind of stakes or objective to the series.

Sorry I have been busy the past couple days and haven't been updating. And then I realised that nobody else added anything.

Aside from bliss, but he can add his own stuff to the chart :U

Sorry Kyonko, I'll try to add other ppl's stuff soon.... My mood/motivation has been lousy lately.

I just felt like messing with you about it. Aside from you, I think I have everyone else up to date.

People should check the chart to make sure they are right. Sometimes I add stuff when I'm half asleep and have put stuff in wrong places or done wrong numbers.

Ninja Slayer: Just Trigger having fun I guess, similar to Inferno Cop. The fact that this is getting 26 episodes is somewhat worrisome as it will definitely overstay it's welcome.
Rio-
Another late list...

Gintama (2015) - nothing else to say about this one, if you love the previous Gintama then you'll love this one too.

Nagato Yuki-chan no Shoushitsu - idk about this one, because It's a spin-off so I don't really looking forward to this (The comedy is good though). Also Tomokazu Sugita as Kyon is still the best (I might mark this red if Kyon wasn't voiced by Tomokazu-san).

Plastic Memories - It's good and the Graphic wasn't so bad either. Also "A bowl of cutted onion served" in the End of the Episode.

Yamada-kun to 7 Nin no Majo - I haven't read the manga yet, but this show makes me want to read the manga so much. Probably gonna start reading the manga as soon as possible.

more to come (i think)...

Grisaia no Rakuen: Continues where it left in the special. As always, exciting story paired with a nice animation, interesting characters and, not to forget, good music are what makes this an enjoyable experience. After Kajitsu and Meikyuu I have high expectations though. For now there is nothing I can complain about.
Green Platinum
Grisaia no Rakuen: Better than the OVA/Special, funny that Yuuji has more personality and is a more interesting character as a child. Fairly decent episode.
xxdeathx
Grisaia no Rakuen: Most of his shit is over (hopefully...)

Dungeon ni Deai wo Motomeru no wa Machigatteiru Darou ka: Somehow I was like the last person in my college friend group to start watching this and that makes me upset because after four episodes, I really like it and I have high expectations for it. Hestia best girl
Fate/Stay Night: Unlimited Blade Works S2:: All I'm gonna say is that I hate having to wait every week until the next episode comes out.
Nisekoi: Will Raku ever notice Chitoge?

Owari no Seraph
Houkago no Pleiades
Etotama
Denpa Kyoushi
Gunslinger Stratos

Twintails are overdone

I respect your opinions but I believe that bob cuts are the best.

You can usually tell a character is awesome if they have a side ponytail.

< and Nanoha for example.

Doesn't fix Flandre and Kaga though, since anything multiplied by zero is still zero.

Considering you chose her in the marry an anime character thread you should be able to explain why Hestia is a good character.

I didn't even notice Flandre had a side ponytail, but yes, agreed. I always lean towards characters with side ponytails
