I don't agree with this being a reason to watch the show, the only character that I felt any sympathy for in the whole series was Kuro Usagi since the MC's were pretty much all narcissistic brats who only got away with it because of success. Show some damn modesty and work ethic, I have this same gripe with No Game No Life. OP characters are fine but atleast give them some character flaws to overcome and the ability to lose otherwise it's just the epitome of boring and terrible writing.Yuutosan wrote:
Both of the MC are too OP than the others.
Now you mentiont it they kinda similar lolsGreen Platinum wrote:

Try out Wolf's Rain, Munto and Index/Railgun series' if you haven't seen them already
I think I should mention that Munto has an OVA made in 2003 and a TV series made in 2009, they both tell the same story so you don't need to watch one before the other. The series goes by the title Sora wo Miageru Shoujo no Hitomi ni Utsuru Sekai or The world reflected in the eyes of a girl who looks at the sky shortened to Munto for obvious reasons.Senritsu wrote:

I'm actually interested on Railgun series, but it's way too much episode.. but i will watch it someday
And have been longing to watch Psycho-Pass and Mondaijiidk if it's worth to watch or no
Will try out Munto, Psycho and probably Mondaiji. thanks xD

Have you tried Berserk? It basically has all the features you wrote down there : ).[ Emerick ] wrote:
Possibly my favorite anime of all time have been hellsing ultimate, aot, code geass, guilty crown, fma, fma brother hood and black butler. Im looking for something that is dark fantasy with more of an edge lord lead who is a bad ass. I also really enjoy the female supporting characters. I really enjoy tragedy and gore. All suggestions will be appreciated

i think u'd like the new series that recently finished called Akame ga kill, decent amount of gore with alot of epic sword fighting, its rlly popular and for a good reason too.Kwonaiden wrote:
I need a recommendation on animes to watch The theme I like is:
Female protaganist like Saber, shana, Erza(fairy tale), Clare/Teresa (yea claymore) like personalities (I love swords and the quiet personalities!)
Suspense ! (similar to Mirai nikki, Kaiji)
gore (optional)
Ecchi/harem I think goes together with hilarious! (I like things that make me laugh out loud like an idiot too or put a goofy grin on my face)
Doesn't have to be together in one!
Thanks in advance

Do you want Aikatsu!? because it seems like you are requesting Aikatsu!Baka Tenshi wrote:
I'll need a color lover for this...and I know it'll be hard to find a recommendation for this but...
I'll need help selecting an Anime that's VERY VERY colorful my retinas would burn. Any genre is okay, Mecha less recommended.
Only condition is it must not include as many fanservices as an Anime like HenNeko and Noucome would include (dropped the latter, regret completing the former). This means it can not be ecchi too. G recommended, and PG would be better (PG-13 is okay but condition applies). Beyond is not accepted (not even ampzz will accept it).
A friend recommended Aikatsu! but its length...Green Platinum wrote:

I can't say it is super interesting. It's more like an ecchi harem comedy anime with little story that starts to get interesting and really progress in first darkness, which is like 2rd or 3rd season of the serie. But i quite enjoyed it when i liked ecchi animes. You can give it a try and see for yourself.YOGURTOVSKY wrote:
Is ToLoveRu super interesting? I thought I could give it a shot since there's new Darkness season in Summer.
Skip to Darkness. You don't really need to watch the prequels because nothing really happened that is important. But even in Darkness, they almost removed Lala by giving the others more screentime for the sake of the "story".YOGURTOVSKY wrote:

You might as well watch like the intro episode for To-love-Ru. From there I'd say jump to Motto! It's short and conveys the style of the first season well and will get you familiar with the characters before jumping into Darkness.YOGURTOVSKY wrote:

The characters and their situations are generally pretty absurd like nichijou but the series often comes back to satire, while Danshi Koukousei no Nichijou was specifically school life Zetsubou-Sensei covers a much broader range of topics.a1l2d3r4e5d6 wrote:

I don't think many experienced fans would agree with you at all. I would probably never recommend any of those even if someone asked for shounen series.YumitheYuri wrote:
I think that claymore is in my opinion one of the best out there, they had a kinda badish ending, but the anime itself was amazing. However claymore is not really as well know as say FMA, Naruto, Soul Eater, etc.. But those of you out there who like animes like bastard or those types of anime then you will like this, it is a pretty depressing anime at times, but i think that just makes it even better, I hope that anyone who has not tried this anime give it a shot.D
I wouldn't recommend any of those either tbh. If you want to watch shounen, go watch something like Gurren LagannYumitheYuri wrote:

So, do you have any good animes in mind that aren't Mahou Shoujo nor mecha
My issue is rejecting shows purely on their genre alone, if it's a good anime who cares what it's about. Sure you can feel in a specific mood for a type of show but you shouldn't reject Gurren Lagann because you didn't like Gundam because they have the common theme of mecha or rejecting Madoka because they didn't like Moetan or Sailormoon.[Superstar] wrote:
I wasn't really into Mahou Shoujo either until I watched all the Nanoha stuff. That was a turning point.
I have nothing against mahou shoujo, nor mecha nor anything else. I just happen to have watched animes of these genres lately and wanted something else. I enjoy most genres. Quit jumping to conclusions so fast.Green Platinum wrote:
Well you made it pretty apparent you didn't want any "even if they were good". What is your prejudice against Mahou Shoujo? I guess Mecha too but I see that less often.

No seriously, anything highly based on dialogues and profound stuff like that?
You could try and wait for Kizumonogatari. Which is the prequel movie to the whole Monogatari series.karlabos wrote:
