(+) Clicking on timing sections in the timeline jumps to them directly.
(*) Beatmap IDs no longer increase for map updates. This should save on useless ID increases and make beatmap-specific links last for longer.
(*) Fixed bug with new online data retrieval failing on first osu! load after importing a new song when unmapped songs are present.
(*) Fixed bug with standard submission. Please reupload any submissions you have (standard submission) if you read this.
(*) Fixed storyboarded intro/outro causing editor to screw up.

Nah shinn, DDoS aren't avoidable. As I said, it was most probably a random attack and should not need any follow-up action. I can't do anything to protect the server more than it already is - a separate firewall is probably the best option, and the cost of this far exceeds my budget.

Should be back on coding tomorrow after a few loose ends.

We actually missed the 1st anniversary of osu! (20070701). Oops.
For those who read this page, I give you the chance to see the first ever released version of osu!, on that date, after 18 hours of coding (in one straight run, no sleep no food :P).

(+) Taiko mode replays! Should be totally backwards compatible
(*) Fixed editor button alignment (no longer overlaps chat ticker).
(*) Fixed middle mouse button affecting replay performance.
(*) Improved accuracy of replays when spinners are missed by a fraction of a section (ave. of 7.5 deviation from 60fps, very unlikely).
(*) Ranking screen no longer exits when clicking anywhere (must click back button).

Aargh, replay changes were longer than expected. Taiko replay and spectator should work now.

The song select screen is too much of a mess atm to push a test release. I have also made netcode changes which will require a Bancho split, which will get nothing but complaints from the so-called "testers" out there. You'll have to wait patiently.

(+) New button for selection options.
(*) Improved gameplay performance with fewer external function calls (may help fight "lag"?)
(*) Show chat button now defaults to showing minimal chat mode, even if extended chat was previously visible.

(+) Personal online best can be seen in play-mode scoreboard, highlighted orange-red.
(+) Added local user's user panel to multiplayer match setup. Stats increases will display here after completing a multiplayer game.
(*) Improvements to pause algorithm.
(*) Fixed '/me' actions highlighting the user which types them.
(*) Fixed timing changes in the timing setup window making sliders disappear.
(*) Fixed popup dialogs not displaying while spectating.
(*) Spectator mode can't be initialised while playing (to avoid accidental spectating).
(*) Added 'Stop Spectating' option to currently spectating user's ioption list.
(*) Increased leniancy of Bancho flood protection (ever so slightly).
(*) Fixed Bancho flood protection kicking in during error reports.

(*) Mouse via keyboard controls work for pause menu etc.

eh.. looks like tomorrow it is (well later today). ran into a few bugs that took quite some time to fix.

Doing some db maintenance for the next few hours - things might be noticeably slow.

(+) Slider endpoints can be selected in editor. This is the beginning of the ability to alter sound additions per-endpoint. More to come..
