Was planning on a public release, but it will have to wait until after I next sleep. Around two known bugs that still need fixes!

Congratulations to me, I made it "on time". This release might just be the most stable osu! release to date (while bancho is still a bit dodgy until it swaps over to the new server), so make sure you update and enjoy it to the full extent. I do suggest you read over the full changelog here

Nah shinn, DDoS aren't avoidable. As I said, it was most probably a random attack and should not need any follow-up action. I can't do anything to protect the server more than it already is - a separate firewall is probably the best option, and the cost of this far exceeds my budget.

(*) Fixed editor button alignment (no longer overlaps chat ticker).
(*) Fixed middle mouse button affecting replay performance.
(*) Improved accuracy of replays when spinners are missed by a fraction of a section (ave. of 7.5 deviation from 60fps, very unlikely).
(*) Ranking screen no longer exits when clicking anywhere (must click back button).

Aargh, replay changes were longer than expected. Taiko replay and spectator should work now.

You know what this means, right? Its time for some osu! game lovin', which has kind've been missing out over the last week or two because of the web design.

Hope you all like the new design anyway. There are still some small tweaks to make, and if you have any suggestions, please voice them here

(*) thumbs.db files are automatically deleted from the songs folders.

not quite sure where i should post this but now that osume runs without admin privileges, it will prompt for admin when trying to patch the dll (prompt for bspatch.exe or something)

(*) Improved mp3 preview performance by a lot.
(*) Fixed tags not displaying in the song setup window (although they are saved).
(*) Fixed updater crashes (stuck processes shouldn't happen anymore).
(*) Fixed search results showing incorrect numbers, and multiple difficulties when they shouldn't appear.
(*) Fixed audio lead-in breaking after watching a replay or spectating someone.
(*) Fixed accuracy displaying above pause screen buttons.
(*) Web: Fixed chat feed not showing names with '-' correctly.

Will be releasing a new public release over the next two days to address some issues.

(*) Fixed editor allowing hitcircles to be moved off the gamefield at resolutions >640x.
(*) Fixed editor bug where using song select after setting a custom volume in timing points resets volume to 100%.
(*) Generic button middle section expands its width so it no longer needs to be one pixel wide.

Flashlight mod is pretty niche to get a space on the mod selection screen. If anything, I'd put it down under special mods, because it's more of a novelty...

The song select screen is too much of a mess atm to push a test release. I have also made netcode changes which will require a Bancho split, which will get nothing but complaints from the so-called "testers" out there. You'll have to wait patiently.

Song selection is kinda messed up at the moment.
