I used the drum pattern from 00:27:573 to 00:39:725 to determine the BPM

No, only one timing point. The beginning and kiai (preview point) have an irregular snare drum pattern so maybe it's not a good idea to find the BPM from that.

Another thing I thought about is that aLIEz, the Aldnoah Zero S1 ending song, has an extremely similar structure and the same instruments as this song, and it was 99 bpm that played like 198 bpm. Since these are similar songs, to me it felt like they probably intended this one to be a similar case—79 bpm that plays like 158.

This is all my own speculation though. Pishifat isn't sure about which bpm to use either.

00:40:485 (3) - Ctrl G, better flow imo.
00:49:788 (6,7) - Try Ctrl+G these two circles. I think this plays out better than the trapezoid pattern.
00:56:434 (1,2) - Not stacked perfectly.

01:04:599 (4,5) - This jump is pretty big compared to the rest of the difficulty, which is usually fine, except they are sliders and the jump occurs between the vocals. Consider shortening 4 and adding a circle at 01:04:978 - .
01:24:725 (5,1) - Same idea as above. Consider making 5 shorter and adding a circle at 01:25:105 - .
01:25:864 (3,4) - Even though it's the same pattern, this one works much better because the vocals don't interfere with the jump from 3 to 4.

00:09:251 (6) - Considering this is a Light Insane and the more difficult Insanes didn't employ 1/8th notes, I don't think this is necessary, especially with the distance spacing from 5 to 6.
00:20:548 (2,3,4) - This pattern doesn't flow really well. Consider a pattern like this, which would also flow better into 00:21:497 (1) - . Something like this.
00:33:080 (4,5) - Ctrl+G these two circles. Better flow. Also 00:32:890 (3) - Is a strong beat so its more natural to have the jump follow after 3, rather than after 4.
00:38:586 (3,4) - Ctrl+G These two circles too? A jump from 00:38:586 (3,4) - seems a bit off, but a jump from 00:38:586 (3,5) - makes sense.
01:21:497 (4) - Rotate it like ~30 degrees? I think the flow from 01:21:118 (3,4) - can be improved.

Make this a circle, followed by a slider? At first i thought you were mapping to the drums but all your previous long sliders were following the vocals.

01:23:206 (3) - This repeat slider feels really off. Maybe because it's flanked by two circles and starts + ends on blue ticks.

This is sort of like the rest zone of the map, so I went less dense here. if that makes sense. I personally like it. Plus adding a note at say, 00:44:282 - doesn't work that great.
