Hey there Come Back Home! owo/
um here's a short mod from my queue, I'll try to skip small stuffs and will only mention some major ones, hope this helps >.<
Let's go!If there's anything you don't understand or if the images and links are messed up, feel free to state so and I will try my best to explain it better!
[General][RIGHT BACK]
- Do try to play a bit with the spinner's volume thrpughout the difficulty. Some parts are somewhat too loud since the background music is fading, I've mentioned a few major ones but I think you might want to go back and check all of the spin and see what's best for you :3
- Add a few tags for the map! Try adding 'hardstyle' and also 'D3-Structive Records' for it's label :3
- 00:28:988 (7) - I don't expect this circle here. Considering that this is still the beginning part of the song and how you mapped the 00:26:088 (1) - part calmly, I think it'd be best if you just remove this note and keep it calm for the intro part Done
- 00:30:488 (5,6,7) - hmm I don't think this triplet fits here imo. I think it would be better if you move change thr rhythm for the triplet to be moved forward instead, like this. Beside that 00:30:488 - only has a small portion of vocal in it compared to 00:30:688 - holded one, triplet would fit more on red tick than on the white tick imo Deleted the triplet and didnt add a new one
- 01:06:888 (4) - consider using ctrl g for this note? The flow is a bit cranky atm from (3) to (4), and the jump to (5) plays quite nice too imo Done
- 01:10:688 (2) - I don't think the jump needed to be this big imo. There aren't any distinct beat in the background, so I think players won't expect this big of a jump here. I'd suggest to put the note a little bit closer to the previous one whilst keep the jump; try stacking it with 01:11:088 (2) - instead, the jump is still pretty reachable and the flow works well with the next star pattern that you used :3 Ill consider it if more pople will point that out
- 01:25:888 (8) - Seeing as how you used a jump on 01:25:088 (5) - (which fits), how about adding a jump for this note too? a small jump should be fine since putting them on a normal distance kinda kills the flow off I really think that there is no reason for a jump
- 01:30:187 (1) - You might want to play a bit with the volume of the spin here since it just feels a bit too loud for a few part here; You can start reducing the volume here 01:33:287 -, and then slowly raising it back up on 01:34:887 - Good point, i'll change it when more people will point that out
- 01:57:287 (1) - ^ As in above. The spinner sounds a bit too loud in the beginning since it's right after the break, try to make the volume slowly raising until the end of the spin :3
- 02:05:687 (2) - This note is a bit confusing to read imo, due to how the overall rhythm for this part seems a bit off; the slider on 02:05:687 (2) - and 02:04:887 (1) - follows the vocal, whilst there's nothing here on 02:05:687 (2) - thus making the rhythm harder to grasp :< I'd suggest to just remove the circle and keep sticking to the vocal here to avoid confusion for players If you listen closely you can hear the vocals starting to sing, it feels empty without the circle
- 02:11:887 (3,4,5) - I don't think using 3 circles here will fit imo. Seeing as how there aren't anything on the background except the main beat, using a slider instead should fit better with the music; try using this pattern instead The jump works good too this way imo :3 Its just to fill up empty room, i'll change it if more people will point that out
- 02:29:287 - Dunno but I think a spin could work really well here, considering how loud the notes on 02:30:886 (1) - started, right after the quiet break :< So yeah, consider adding a spin starting from here until 02:30:686 - done
- 02:33:286 (10,11) - Ah these two looked a bit not neat imo, try to just blanket them like this , though also remember to change 02:32:886 (9) - to be somewhat more curvy to keep the pattern :3 It wasnt supposed to be blanket
- 02:43:686 (1) - Use a finish here to make the aftereffect of the two repeats on 02:42:086 (3,4) - much better :3 done
- 02:50:086 (1) - If you're following the one above, adding another finish here should be fit beside making it consistent with the previous rhythm done
- 02:52:486 (10,11) - The flow between these two note isn't really good imo. Considering how the tail of (10) is facing the edge of the map, having (11) right below it will make the cursor movement a bit sharp to reach it, which isn't really comfortable imo :< Using a jump here will make the flow less restricted, try using this pattern instead done
- 03:28:286 (6) - Seeing as how you used jumps for the previous circles on this combo(03:27:686 (3,4,5) - ), I don't really see the reason why this circle didn't get a jump imo, especially with how this note is the last one for this combo :< Try placing it a bit further from (5), having it stacked with 03:28:286 (6) - should be nice :3 Done
- 04:17:685 (6) - Eh why do you stack this circle? Because it fits with the vocals.
- 04:57:684 (10) - NC here? considering how you used NC per 2 stanzas before, it should make sense done
[Hard]Nice map! Pretty neat, and there aren't many complicated stuffs here so this map would be good as a learning point :3 Though please mind the spin volume that I've mentioned and also consider adding more hitsounds to a few part since I do feel that a few part is a bit empty, so consider to add it! :3
- 00:35:288 (10,11) - (11) plays really weird when played imo o.o Besides that there aren't anything that should be emphasized with a click, the lack of hitsound is also making it a bit awkward :< Try changing these two with a slider instead? It should fit better that way imo, especially since player won't click at 00:35:488 -, the rhythm should looked this then done
- 00:38:088 (1,2,3) - Eh this stream is a bit too much for a hard imo, try reducing this first triplets with a kick slider instead to make the rhythm simpler like this done
- 00:46:888 (5) - Consider moving this note a few higher up? It currently is a bit too parallel with 00:46:688 (4) - which causes the flow to be a bit cranky :< Moving it to x376/y152 should do, and changing the shape will help too, but you're free to keep it that way, just moving it should make it better :3 Nah, its fine like this
- 00:49:088 (3) - Seeing as how you've followed every uh bass-thingy in the background, having this one not is awkward to play, the drum on 00:49:288 - is too loud to be ignored imo :< So yeah, I think arranging the rhythm for this part should do it; try to move 00:49:088 (2) - to 00:49:288 - instead, and insert the gap with a circle, that should fix the problem for this part. As for the stream, I think removing them all would be the best option imo, seeing as how they would complicate the rhythm here :< They should looked like this then In this part im focusing on the higher sounds
- 01:29:887 (4,5) - Consider changing these two circles to a slider instead? The slider will be able to emphasize the vocal with the hold effect, which I think is nice imo :3 done
- 02:05:687 (4) - As in the Right Back diff ^
- 03:18:886 (1) - This stream is definitely too much for a Hard diff. Consider changing to a more simple rhythm, like using a few kick slider would work. Just try to reduce the circles :< done
- 03:29:486 (4) - Consider using ctrl g here? This would create the same jump effect with 03:24:686 (4) -, which is quite nice here imo
Anyway, I hope I have helped you with this, sorry for the short mod, really >< Short? This was a pretty amazing mod 0.0. Thank you for the star :3
Good luck on ranking this! (ノ◕ヮ◕)ノ ~`☆
