i would like to use a word "calm" instead of "boring". the pictures you provided feel like 3d and pretty mainstream or i dunno which word to use there. 2 and 4 are the same btw, and 3rd is already used in another map, so nahFujiyama Panic wrote:

There's lots of unsnapped kiais!(Fixed while I was modding)- Kiai should be consistent on your own diffs.
- 02:29:575 - End the second kiai here or make a kiai from 02:28:249 - until 02:29:575 - instead of the fountains?
- Consider having less finishers on the kiai time since it's the Muzu?
- 00:21:951 (1) - Add a finisher or remove the finisher on the Oni?
- 00:42:171 - Add a don as you did for 01:45:817 (20) - ? The lack of a note here makes this part's timing way more tricky to follow imo. It fits to the drums and it's a big white tick too.
- 00:56:923 (9) - Move to 00:56:426 - ? Fits better to the beat and easier to play.
- 01:07:364 (1) - Resnap this note! Dat overlap
- 01:07:364 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,1) - Try this? Your pattern doesn't follow this part well and is a bit awkward to play imo:
- 01:12:668 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,1) - Same here. D: If you want to make the 2 patterns different, try changing both of them into not monotone patterns? Or try this (but it's still weird imo):

Anyway, as requested by Aka, I'll throw on my modding cap. It's been a while so forgive me for any blatant mistakes.
There's just some things I'd like to point out though.

These are some pretty solid taiko diffs btw. Nice job Ono and good luck with this set Aka.
Anyway, as requested by Aka, I'll throw on my modding cap. It's been a while so forgive me for any blatant mistakes.
There's just some things I'd like to point out though.

- I believe the hitsound volume overpowers the music in one part of the song, specifically at 01:28:580 . Change is covered under the oni because there's no green line at that point in the muzu however it would probably be best to apply it to the muzu as well so it'd be consistent across both diffs. It's up to you.

It should simply look like this: - 01:03:718 (1,2,1,1,1,2,3,1) - This pattern "sounds" great but... it doesn't play that way though. I believe it should be revised for better flow. Also, there's a great opportunity for 1/6 here. Seeing as you did it with the previous section, why not here as well?
Suggesting: - 01:28:580 - Lower the volume to 40% in this section. The hitsounds are overpowering the music too much here. The goal is to get it to "mesh" into that beautiful melody.

- 02:07:033 (1,1,2,1,1) - This is very awkward to play and I highly recommend revising it. I also tried kurosanyan's suggestion and, you may say otherwise, but I don't believe it solved the problem. Sorry, kurosanyan ;_;

- I think this is just me, but since it's getting on my nerves a little, I thought it'd nicer to say it: Why would you use the finish from the Normal sampleset? The sound, especially the "fading" effect, doesn't reflect the instruments you emphasize well. It actually makes playing awkward to me. Maybe you would like to get some opinions or something like that, but I personally would use the custom Soft finish instead to replace the Normal finishes, and on the places where there (01:36:536 - 01:43:829 should be okay, though.) (Applies to your other diffs, of course.)
- 00:24:933 (3,1) - Pretty sure you should swap the NC here since it looks like you're adding an NC every two stanzas. After that, apply an NC at 00:27:586 (3) to keep the combo pattern consistency. (Well, later on the diff, it isn't exactly like that. However, I can't see why should you make the combo look like how it is now on this spot.)
- 02:12:337 - 02:13:663 - Don't you think you're overusing finishes here? To be honest, I don't think the finishes fit the music at all (although reducing the amount of finishes should do). One at 02:12:337 and another at 02:13:663 would be enough, IMO.
- 02:07:696 (6) - Move to (392,79)? As you can see, 02:06:370 (4,5,6) looks neater like that. (Of course, fix the spacing for the objects after this.)
- 00:29:906 (4,5) - I know this is very minor for a Hard, but why the spacing inconsistency? Something like 00:31:398 (8,1) is okay, but this one is almost unnoticeable and doesn't really make sense, to be honest.
- 01:03:221 (10) - IMO, a single circle fits the instrument and emphasizes it better than a 1/4 slider.
- 01:36:536 - 01:45:652 - Why, when you're mapping the strong drum sounds, you map them with a circle (except for the last one, which is a slider's head) which is stacked below another object? Doesn't really make sense since they're way stronger than the instruments that are mapped by the other objects. It'd definitely be better to have some movement by unstacking them to emphasize the strength of the drum hits.
- 01:57:586 (8) - Suddenly using a 1/4 slider? Also, I dunno why but it feels weird playing 01:57:088 (7,8,1) for some reason. Might be just me. The thing I really want to talk about, though, is the fact that this is pretty much the only moment (and 01:56:757 (6) too) where a 1/4 note is mapped, while they're not mapped in the second half of the kiai, which is... a pretty odd choice, at least for me. Do what you wish, still; I'm pretty much only telling about what I felt conflicted about.
- 00:24:270 (9) - Try something like this for a better flow? How the slider is shaped and placed currently breaks the flow and makes the cursor movement awkward, IMO.
- 00:25:431 (3,4) - Uh, is there any reason for this overlap? I think it's kinda intentional since the DS value is also a little off from 1.3x, but uh...
- 01:46:315 (3,4) - The spacing is inconsistent compared to 01:46:398 (4,5,6,7,8,1).
- 02:49:630 (1,2,3,4,1) - Try making the spacing here even larger? Considering the last few seconds before this part is basically a series of jumps, this pattern might trick players into thinking that it also consists of 1/2 jumps, thus making them read this wrongly.
- 00:57:586 - Why isn't this tick mapped, or maybe combine 00:57:420 (7,8) into a slider? I can't really see any reason of emphasizing the instruments only with two circles with nothing on this tick (while there are instruments playing).

- I think this is just me, but since it's getting on my nerves a little, I thought it'd nicer to say it: Why would you use the finish from the Normal sampleset? The sound, especially the "fading" effect, doesn't reflect the instruments you emphasize well. It actually makes playing awkward to me. Maybe you would like to get some opinions or something like that, but I personally would use the custom Soft finish instead to replace the Normal finishes, and on the places where there (01:36:536 - 01:43:829 should be okay, though.) (Applies to your other diffs, of course.)

- I believe the hitsound volume overpowers the music in one part of the song, specifically at 01:28:580 . Change is covered under the oni because there's no green line at that point in the muzu however it would probably be best to apply it to the muzu as well so it'd be consistent across both diffs. It's up to you.

Suggesting:- 01:28:580 - Lower the volume to 40% in this section. The hitsounds are overpowering the music too much here. The goal is to get it to "mesh" into that beautiful melody. Okay, accepting. Put 60% at 01:36:536 so it rise up to 80% in the kiai.
- 01:46:563 (1,2,3,1,1,1) - Again, it "sounds" great but doesn't play the same way. Also, as with the previous ones there's another opportunity for 1/6.
Another suggestion: I guess here I will rather follow my likes an keep 1/6 away. Kuro suggested it as well, but first patterns in kiai might have a lower effect due to 1/6 ?- 01:52:944 (3) - I sort of agree with kurosanyan here but i don't have any problems with the most of the other finishers. Just this one and a similar one because of the flow. Can be easily fixed though if you change 01:52:779 (2) - to a don changed in kuro1 mod
- 02:06:204 (3) - ^ Same reasons
- 02:07:033 (1,1,2,1,1) - This is very awkward to play and I highly recommend revising it. I also tried kurosanyan's suggestion and, you may say otherwise, but I don't believe it solved the problem. Sorry, kurosanyan ;_; Changed to what I had previously at 01:56:426.
