Hi o/ I have looked through the taiko set, i have an suggestion on Oni.

Oni :

00:58:217 (18,19,20,21,22,23,24) - this pattern is unique, but I think it could stop on 00:59:972 - instead 01:00:323 (24) - , because i found that the vocal and drum sounds are apparent, so i think you can try to remove the finish on 01:00:323 (24) - and then add d on 01:00:147 - , it not only fit the melody but also make a good consistency with 01:00:673 (25,26,27,28) -

01:11:200 (80,81) - same as above ^

Just a small suggestion tho, but i think this kind of pattern can make a different impact on 00:58:217 (18,19,20,21,22,23,24) -

Well, I really want to keep that because the vocal rhythm ends in 01:00:323 - , tried putting the notes and plays a bit better for me as a kat, but didn't like how the vocals were interrupted ;w;

You should have the red timing line at 00:02:077 - on all diffs. This makes all of the measures start correctly instead of one measure too early. If you listen with nightcore mod on, you'll understand what I mean when you hear the 'finish' crash sound playing in the wrong spots. This will probably make a lot of your green timing off by 1ms, and it'll need fixing. Be sure to resnap all your notes as well. (and I wanted to rank this too... )

00:13:130 (1,2) - on both GD's and Taiko diffs. This sounds a bit off. It might just be me though. The first note in particular feels like it should be later.

If you don't like the final result, then try nudging it around a bit more. Just make sure to keep the DS.

00:25:761 (5,6) - Not perfectly stacked, even though it doesn't matter anyways. Might as well make it pretty though :3
00:43:305 (2,2) - As odd as this might sound. I found this much easier to play with these two notes deleted. It fits the 3/2 bounces you're doing here. Maybe consider deleting these two notes?
01:16:288 (4) - I love your sliders, but when I look at this one, I don't know what to say. It feels lifeless bluntly put. Maybe add something to pick up the guitar with a curve. http://puu.sh/dsc1W.jpg ? the guitar picks up right on the second bounce.

[Hard]

00:57:340 (3) - are you sure you don't want to skip the head and start on the dominant vocals? it kind of goes against your whole mapping style here. There really isn't any important sounds playing at 00:57:340 - anyways. It just doesn't feel like something you'd do honestly
01:03:656 (1,2,3) - These could be spaced a little better. I also suggest using a little more spacing. 0.25 to 0.30 looks nice.

00:49:270 (6) - ? I don't feel this note at all. Comparing it to the rest of the set. this feels much better deleted.

It's good. one thing I will kind of mention is: 00:40:673 (2,3,4,5) - sounds a bit strange since the snare-like hit seems to happen slightly before (4) and doesn't mix well with the hitsound. It makes this part odd to play.

The only thing that slightly made me think was the short spinners, and then the short time after it, like 00:11:726 (1,1) - I'm assuming this is fine but it does feel like I had to rush for it. Not sure if it's a bit much or not.

All of the Taiko diffs feel / play great!

Call me back whenever you think everything is fine and I can rebubble. The main problems lie in the general part. I'm also assuming we're sticking with TV size ver. even though the website probably should hold more priority? -> "IGNITE (TV size)" I don't think it matters in the end, but I think we should start going with websites over CD covers like it's been suggested on the ranking criteria threads.

Updated. Took the freedom to change the hitsounding in Dark Accelerator's diff, put some drum set claps there to fit with the bassy sound.

00:49:975 (2) - I'd remove the whistle from the head of this. A bit spammy with it there.
01:15:238 (2,3) - Personally I'd try a reverse 1/2 slider here or something else. When i was test playing this, every time this section felt so awkward to play. It seems mostly because of the vocal dominance here. Coming off 01:14:537 (3,4,5,1) - also seems to add in more confusion. Basically, it just doesn't feel that great when I play this. (sorry for the poor explanation and not really giving a suggestion)
01:18:747 (3) - missing whistle.

01:21:730 (4,1) - This whistle feels like it should be on the (4)'s tail when going by your whistling patterns.

here the explanation. i used those notes to follow the instrumentals (the violins) there. in your pattern, i think you are going to follow the snare sounds on 00:13:659 - ; 00:14:361 - ; 00:15:063 - and 00:15:765 - . well, it's not bad, but i think you can follow the instrumentals which are much better than the snares. anyway this is an optional, because i don't wanna to destroy your style of mapping

• delete this note on 00:19:975 - . well i know that you wanted to follow the vocal there, and it's nice~ :3 but actually the basic pattern between Futsuu and Muzukashii are almost same there. here you can see these :

those are Futsuu and Muzukashii from 00:18:923 - until 00:24:186 -

you can see that the patterns are almost same. it's just one difference there with a note on 00:21:379 - in Muzukashii diff. but another are same. well then, that's a first reason why it should be deleted. and the second, if you delete that note, it will make a good spread diff between Kantan~Futsuu~Muzukashii, especially for the usage of the breaks. here, you can see these again :

• add a note 00:26:291 - please. it will follow the vocal perfectly with a note there

• add a note here 00:30:852 - please. 6/2 break doesn't work well there since Futsuu just has 4/2 break o.o and also this 6/2 break will effect the usage of the notes in Oni which are full 1/2 notes with breaks

• these notes should be deleted 00:41:203 - . well i know so bad that it feels like a "missing sounds" because those notes follow the instruments nicely. but i deleted those notes for the spread diff between the Futsuu and Muzukashii. you can look that your Futsuu doesn't have any notes before 00:41:379 - , so it'll have a big break there, but in Muzukashii, you used full six 1/2 notes there. okay, you can give the notes before 00:41:379 - for Muzukashii, but at least give a little break with 1/2 break to connect 00:41:379 -

• 00:43:659 - ; 00:44:010 - ; 00:46:817 - and 00:46:817 - should be deleted too. the reason is same like above too. i'll give you the specific explanation here, look these :

look there. Futsuu is using 3/2 patterns and also it has a nice break between 00:43:484 - ~ 00:44:186 - and 00:46:291 - ~ 00:46:993 - . but, Muzukashii has full 1/2 patterns. actually i am fine with the usage of notes for Muzukashii from 00:41:905 until 00:43:133 - and 00:44:186 - ~ 00:45:940 - , but not for 00:43:484 - ~ 00:44:186 - and 00:46:291 - ~ 00:46:993 - . you used five 1/2 notes for Muzukashii but Futsuu just only a 4/2 break. you can look these after you deleted those notes which i mentioned :

you can look that those 1/2 notes in Muzukashii could fill the 2/1 break perfectly with a note in the middle of the 2/1 break

• awh delete this note 01:05:414 - please. well, i know that you want to follow the vocal there, don't you?

if it's yes, it's really nice and fit with well. but after considering this thing, this note should be deleted. why? we look for the spread diff again, between Futsuu and Muzukashii. Futsuu has a spinner on 01:03:835 - until 01:05:063 - and it has a 5/2 break from 01:05:063 - until 01:05:940 - . then, you replace that spinner with notes for your Muzukashii and also you add some notes in that 5/2 break. it's nice, but the usage of the break is really small, especially between 01:05:063 - until 01:05:940 - which is a 5/2 break in Futsuu. after i thought the solution, finally i got it with a one deletion on 01:05:414 - . another effect for this deletion is Muzukashii players will get a little break (a 3/4 break there) after the Finisher patterns that you used from 01:03:835 - until 01:05:063 - . so players could prepare their self for the next pattern with this 3/4 break

Oni's pattern will be changed later at this part. i'll do it later in the Oni box

• delete this one 01:13:835 - ? to make it consistent with 01:02:607 - which is a 1/2 break there

• 01:24:712 - should be deleted too. in your Futsuu, you use a spinner from 01:23:484 - until 01:24:537 - and use a 4/2 break from 01:24:537 - until 01:25:238 - . you replace that spinner in you Muzukashii with notes and also add some notes after 01:24:537 - which is the tail of the spinner in Futsuu. okay, no problem for it actually, but a small thing here. that 4/2 break in Futsuu which replaces with notes in Muzukashii should have a little break there, i mean Muzukashii should manage a little break there. it's not hard actually. you don't need to change your pattern, just delete a note on 01:24:712 - to give some 1/2 breaks there

okay, after did a recheck for a while and small IRC with deka, this mapset is ready to be qualified

taikos are nice. the spread diffs between every diffs are clear. even though Kantan and Futsuu and also Muzukashii and Oni have a same pattern in the first part (00:02:080 - ~ 00:12:782 - ), but i don't mind for this one. my map ever did this and it's no problem. and even though the gap between Kantan and Futsuu is just 47notes, i am fine with this since they have a proper pattern

don't think there's anything wrong with having two diffs labeled as "Hard", "Hard+" seems cheesy imo. with the new star rating it's not like it won't be clear which diff is harder
