其实 Inner Oni 和 Oni 的难度没差很大...建议删一个 不强制啦不过我觉得删了会比较好. 如果你真的要删的话留Oni我觉得比较好.
其实我本身就觉得Inner Oni有点乱...

and i would suggest you to keep the long break on 00:48:255 - ~ 00:49:345 - . why? this break could really help the kantan player to read the 1/2 note which comes out on 00:49:527 -

• change 00:52:618 - to be kat and move 00:52:982 - to 00:53:709 - . and also change 00:53:345 - to be kat. it will be much better to follow the pitch sounds there

I feel like the Kiai in the kantan could use some pretty big tweaks and honestly isn't ready for qualified. Many parts of the kiai should have notes on the upbeat (aka the red tick) in 1/1 instead of on the downbeat (white tick) in 1/1. As it is right now, the notes feel out of place as they don't line up with the vocals / most impactful parts of the song, which is what you normally map to in kantan difficulties.

As an example

00:49:527 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8) - Currently mapped to 1/1 snap on the downbeat. The vocals and very dominant parts of the song are on the upbeats (red ticks) and would play significantly better as shown in the picture here

To see what it'd look like if the entire kiai was changed to match the vocals better, I made a quick example which can be found here

This problem extends throughout the kiai, and also exists in the futsuu. Haven't looked at the muzukashii or oni yet as the problem is big enough in the easier difficulties in my opinion to warrant a disqualification.

As the BAT who qualified I shall say I understand how the mapper followed the vocals while staying on the main beat (and I'd probably mapped in a very similar way). Both options are valid, though I see mapping on offbeat a bit weird for a Kantan. In the end QAT will have the final word, so let's avoid any drama or unneeded discussion as we already did in #taiko :P

oh god, I don't see how this is following the vocals at all. There's nothing wrong with discussion about how a map can be layed out differently, because it's not unwanted.

Kantan feels sometimes like a mix of beat-vocal mapping, which in most cases works fine with the vocal. Sometimes however, it doesn't work really well since the clash / conflict between vocal and beatmapping becomes too big (Tasha and Love noticed it and gave examples). I will mention it once again downbelow.

  1. 00:33:709 (36,40) - Note (36) is a finisher while (40) isn't one. For consistency, I would either delete the finisher or change (40) to one.
  2. 00:39:527~00:43:891 - That's one vocal-beat clash we have in this map. First, the previous 1/1 triplets follow the vocal in a nice way and then, suddenly at 00:39:527 it becomes a straight 2/1 pattern, which has just barely something to do with the vocal. It can be discussed about if it's now good or not, but it can confuse lower players since they do not know what to follow exactly. It might be enough to delete just the note at 00:40:255 (45) - to gain your previous mapping way back(the triplets).
  3. 00:43:891~00:46:800 - Not a must, but a spinner would be possible. After all these triplets, the spinner could fungate as "fake rest moment", since it doesn't need to be hit up to the end after all.
  4. 00:49:527~00:54:073 - Another vocal-beat clash. First and last patterns in this section fit to the vocal while the middle part are just straight 2/1 notes.
    I have something else to suggest, in case you want to follow the vocal(which are actually strong emphasized here):

  5. 00:58:436 (15) - How comes this is the only finisher here? I can understand if all 00:58:436 (15,16,17) - are finishers, but in current way, (15) stands as finisher rather alone.

  7. 01:20:982 - This note can be deleted to be consistent with 01:15:164 and provide some rest moments as well.
I think the Kantan can be still refined at certain parts. I see some good atempts here and if I'm not wrong, mapper tried to make it easy.
But maybe because of that try, it kinda went a bit out of hand in some parts? I'm not sure, but even so, it lacks a bit of structure on certain parts which has been mentioned before.

  1. 00:21:345 (34,35) - Hm. Might be not bad to delete these notes for another rest moment as you had at 00:15:527 and 00:31:527. Yes, at 00:21:345 are some sounds for these patterns, but you have no rest moment from 00:16:255 to 00:30:800 for 14 seconds, which is much. In case you really dislike the change, you can try to have some restmoment, starting from 00:22:073 .
  2. 00:33:709~00:39:527 - This section should have less notes. When paying attention to the background and vocal, you notice that it is 'quieter'. It has less impact than the other parts before and aftwards, yet it provides the same amount of notes like the other parts. Please change that by reducing the note density here, so the differences become clear. It would also emphasize upcoming part due to rise of notes.

  1. 00:24:436 (71,72) - Recommending to keep the way you mapped before by deleting such notes and have at least small rest moments between notes.

To be honest, overall I'm fine with the Oni. But you should consider having at some parts less 1/4 notes like at 00:33:709 or making some patterns easier, for example the ooxox patterns. It's not a big jump from Muzu to Oni, but it is still significant at some point. While Muzu is mostly mapped to 1/2 patterns, Oni suddenly provides some complex patterns, such as two-plets bounded together with triplets or unique patterns like ddkdk in the kiai.


The spread from Muzu to Oni can be probably easy fixed. As I said, tuning down the Oni just a bit might be enough. But Kantan should have some checkes before it gets requalified again. Overall, good attempt. Good luck!
