why would you put a touhou background for this.
props for mapping pendulum (more people need to), but the vocal sections are mapped very oddly and quite a few of the jumps don't make sense to me at all.

don't do that again, thanks. this is pretty hazy and i'm not going to do anything about it since i'm not quite up to scratch with standards, but i'd really REALLY advise not trying that again in another mapset.

the reason i pointed it out is because it keeps catching me out whenever i play it. i'm not particularly up to scratch with current standards (which is why i'm not doing anything about it) but something that looks that ugly and plays that awkwardly shouldn't be in a mapset to begin with, imo.
this isn't even LC's difficulty, btw. that i can't fault. plays pretty damn good.

Really, that stack keeps on catching me, too; I keep on hitting that slider way too early and breaking my combo. That stack flows like mud IMO; the rhythm so far indicates that the slider would be either 3/4 or 1/2 earlier due to its position*, but that's not the case. That slider should have been moved out from under that hit circle and the map would be perfect IMO. But, it's too late to fix that.
I don't see the need for this big argument, though; all Ephemeral did was make a simple suggestion for future beatmaps of Reiji's.
*By this I mean that because you can't see the slider as it appears and have to react to it, you go by the rhythm of the map so far to "read" it, and since it breaks the rhythm it's a pain.

Uh that slider might be slightly hard to read if you use gigantic hit300 skin, otherwise it's okay, atleast for me.

It may be okay for users of small hitbursts, but it's still a problem with larger hitbursts. The point of a map being ranked is that it's intuitive with just about any kind of setup. This is why a map should be ranked. There is no "Best with small hitbursts" category.lolcubes wrote:

As for the map itself, I've played it a couple of times and for the most part, it feels pretty solid. I've seen some people slagging it off because it isn't nearly as stylised or memorable as the other Pendulum maps, but it's still neato and quite acceptable.
Actually, if you have a ridiculously big hitburst, it's not the fault of the mapper. The point of a ranked map is to be playable on the default skin, and if you have a skin which doesn't make a map playable, the mapper has nothing to do with that.D33d wrote:
