thanks for the mod omg no pls

i see the music is a bit off at that part, which is unfortunate, but can't be corrected without an uninherited timing point.

as for the slider placement, my intention was to create a bigger jump with only a bit of awkward change in momentum, but upon inspecting it again i have noticed it was more awkward than it should be, so I have moved it.

  2. 00:21:805 - to 00:31:638 - I think HS here is a bit too loud for the calm part of the song ,55%-60% volume seems reasonable for me here
  3. 00:44:471 (1) - Finish HS at head sound nice for me

  7. 01:17:972 (2,3,4) - Don't know why you do big jumps on silent part of the music but it a bit too forced here imo In the kiai and ending I consistently have medium sized jumps because the music, instruments especially, is loud all around, so I get why you may think this empty part shouldn't have even bigger jumps, but these are to emphasize the vocals, which are still going strong.

Also fixed hitsounds which are shorter than 100 ms.

Remarks: Unsnapped objects detected by AImods are incorrect, they are 1/16 snapped which are considered to be the most accurate. Also, for Fycho's Hard, I don't know if there's enough recovery time for the first spinner and post-object. Please be reminded of these issues!

Hello. Unfortunately, I have to disqualify this map because of the following:

[EXTRA MAGIC]
  1. 00:19:138 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,1) - there's nothing in the music that sounds like 1/4. You could point at the piano part, but it's too weak and half of it doesn't sound like separate sounds
  2. 01:10:638 (7,8,9,10,11) - same as above, no 1/4s here
  3. 01:03:305 (2) - while this may be "intuitive", it's fairly hard to notice, especially on default-alike skins
Other suggestions from the discussion:
  1. 00:09:805 - the stream actually starts here, on the white tick, but notes appear 1/2 later. I honestly don't know what to do, would try to remove or shorten the spinner
  2. 00:53:138 (1,2) - could be a stream if you are generous but that single 1/4 note is just "wrong"
  3. 00:54:055 (2) - note doesn't fit anything; it is actually conflicting with the song.
  4. 01:10:721 (8) - I could agree on removing this note as the last triplet can be seen as a valid addition. Maybe even keeping all 5 notes could be okay from a pure gameplay perspective as it keeps the tension in this part up - but that is really stretching the limits of what should be done.
Sorry that it took us that long to come to a final decision.
P.S. This map will be handled by BATs from now on.

Now that this is disqualified, I want to point out few things that I think could use improvements.


  • EXTRA MAGIC
  1. Kind of weird difficulty settings, don't you think OD 8,5 would be better because it's an extra after all? Also using Hp 7 or 6,5 could be a nice idea, adds more challenge.
  2. 00:15:138 (3,4,5,6) - Consider adding them more spacing, looking at 00:13:305 (3,6) - or 00:18:638 (3,6) - , that seems to be somewhat inconsistent (I'll admit that that's a completely different pattern). But if you ask me, having more spacing on those 1/4 sliders would make the pattern play overall a ton better instead of feeling cluttered.
  3. 01:08:805 (2,3,5,6) - Adding more spacing between these notes would definitely improve the gameplay, similar what you have at 01:06:971 (1,2) - or 00:56:305 (1,2) - . Feels weird to play because the part is really intense, yet you used such a low distance snap there.
  4. 01:17:471 (1,2,3,4,5) - This stream plays really, really weird. I don't hear the song decreasing gradually volume-wise at all, so in that sense this doesn't make too much sense. The song is pretty intense too, it doesn't lose it untill at 01:17:805 - (imo) which makes it even more weird to play this. Consider using something like this instead because it'd play better for sure;

after a long talk with TicClick, we reached a consensus about how to do with the map:
  1. there's actually some piano sounds from 00:19:138 - to 00:20:471 - , but they sound too weak. so I finally changed circle stacks to repeat sliders, and turned their volume down a bit except 00:19:138 - 00:19:638 - and 00:20:138 -
  2. changed 01:03:305 (2,3,4,5,6,7) - the stream shape to avoid hiding 01:03:305 (2) - under the sliderbody
  3. removed the note at 01:10:721 - , and changed 01:10:471 (6) - to slider, to avoid following nothing at the music
also the current timing is not complete, the objects from 01:24:971 - to the end are not snapped accuratel, we added a new red section with bpm 174 at 01:24:971 - and resnapped all things after it

  3. 00:54:055 (2) - note doesn't fit anything; it is actually conflicting with the song.
    I used more notes here to emphasize the loud vocal at 00:54:138 - , just like what I did at 01:04:721 -
  4. 01:10:721 (8) - I could agree on removing this note as the last triplet can be seen as a valid addition. Maybe even keeping all 5 notes could be okay from a pure gameplay perspective as it keeps the tension in this part up - but that is really stretching the limits of what should be done.

    the setting is hard enough for this diff imo.. the HP is for more people can pass the diff, it won't make the diff easier or harder to play

    the current spacing is fine imo. I broke the flow a bit here, it would be too hard to play if I raised the spacing

    the spacing changing is to indicate the slider speed changing to the next slider, the stream looks a bit odd but I think it's a nice reminder
