They really need to remake the joust map .-. wasted 1 hour on this guy that was titansitting...

I don't think the map is the problem. I've only played like 3 games on that map and the first thing I noticed and possibly a big reason I hate that game mode is that it's extremely stagnant. Basically whoever fucks up first loses or is put at a pretty big disadvantage. Which is fine, but it's pretty dang hard to come back from. Talking from a 3v3 perspective.

Not sure how I feel about paying $$$$ to gain more worshipers. Kinda ruins it for the people who spent a lot of time on some gods to reach legendary status.

You still see the difference from a legendary that farmed without boosters and one that farmed with them according to wins and kills on the godcard if they bought the gold card. I don't even look at the loading screen mostly... And honestly, have you ever seen a legendary Ao Kuang without med?

from the 3v3 perspective, you have mostly 1 mage, 1 assassin/hunter and 1 guardian/warrior. So it is true from that perspective, a mage can poke down that titan if people titan sit. If you don't have a hyper carry team you should probably give up after the first few kills since snowballing is easy in that mode.
The problem is in 1v1, with, let's say Mercury and Kali you have no chance poking it without getting in danger. Also, you need the abilitys to clear. And if you poke them down and they have to go back to spawn, you can't do any damage since you need to go near objectives, phoenixes are no problem, but the titans are really annoying. Those 1h+ matches are just retarded... you can farm towerkills though.

The new skins are amazing, I'll buy them all And Serket feels so OP, but cool to play.

This curse voice thing, thanks for the free gems. The program seems like the normal voice chat thing, I'd rate 6/10 from functionality compared to dolby axon and teamspeak 3. The problems with it, after joining a few conversations: People with bad mics, people screaming, people insulting someone that isn't in the conversation. The good part is, you can make plans better and discuss strategies. Also, a lot of people are really friendly on it, maybe because it gives you more personality, the way you talk, your pronunciation and how you act. People seem a lot more careful on what they say then what they write. On the other side, trolls are more hardcore and bm is scary on it. But anyway, voice chat won't give you too much if there is no synergy in a team. My clan doesn't use voice chat and we still win most premades.

Would be really cool if they had it increase beyond level 10. This way the people who just want the Legendary skin get it while the people who invested a lot of time in the god keep getting rewarded for it.

Fixed my KDR though, 1.4:1 at this moment. And i never miss an ult, it's on instant casting And Riot... when I played LoL it all looked so nice, can't believe it got like that...


People complaining about counterpicks, streamsniping, ghosting and whatever weird stuff in joust league should not play this mode. It could sound as stupid as "He baited me into Chronos which lets him pick Chronos which counters my Chronos.", for a reason there are counterbuilds. I randomly tuned in the smite twitch, saw PBat playing joust, complaining about how the opponent of him is a sniper and how he looked to counter his picks, and that's why he always picks different gods and whatever. His opponent didn't know how to counter the god PBat was playing, so he just trolled around a bit. During that time he already was far behind.

Also, Yuketsu vs Rikudosannin was pretty much a reason to Alt + F4 the stream. Just because you get the same guy 2 times in a row doesn't mean he snipes you. And how can you loose with prenerf Bastet?

I saw the first time someone really raging about streamsniping in Smite, dmbrandon about GiTsticker. dmbrandon played vs GiT before and it was always the same picks: Kali vs Mercury. GiTsticker spammed during that time in Joust 1v1 with Mercury, he got about 500 wins in these days. He is maybe one of the most mature and skilled joust players, but got denounced before 2k viewers. It makes me sick to see how streamers trashtalk about their opponents. They are streamers and could be a good image for their viewers which are a lot maybe young and take this as normal behavior.

As I said my stats are inflated. I used to average around 20-25 kills a game with him. Basically release Fenrir was - Do attack buff and go 1 shot someone in lane or enemy jungler with your 3. Repeat process. His 3 also used to proc on hit effects and didn't break with jumps. xD

Riot is still a good company and League is still a good game, but it's definitely going downhill due to them making terrible balance decisions and being super lazy with everything. I've spent way too much time playing LoL to hope for it to die, but I've already got to the point where I rarely play it anymore.

My net lately is too bad to play anything that requires a stable online connection eg: Smite.

My provider is crap in my area... I walk into the wall for like 10s sometimes and 99% of the time people kill me .-. And one source of bad stats is maybe joust 1v1, since you rarely get many kills depending on the god you play. On tiermonster it says you average 11 kills a game and 2 deaths. DAE Vulfs Fenrir OP?

When looking on my page I cry, didn't join for to long (06-12-2014) my most played god since then is Mercury with 6 kills and 3 deaths per game. I play him mostly in Joust 1v1, every arena player has like double or triple the kills I get with merc. But Artemis, which I only play in conqest to fill for the ADC role, has average 9 kills per game and 5 deaths, 8 assists. Which is kill wise a lot higher then the normal user stats.

Fenrirs 3 makes me laugh sometimes, not because people say "push 3 to win" or some other crap, more like when I Mercury ult Fenrir follows me to the end of the map. Same for Loki ult, got a Fenrir in the spawn like that.

Those stats on that site seem kinda off to me and I don't think it starts from when you joined the site either. 600+ kills in 3-4 conquest is unrealistic. LOL

I think it might be going off when Smite launched because that seems more accurate in terms of numbers to me.

I think tiermonster might have just averaged every game mode together because I shouldn't have almost a 12 kill average anymore because there was a good 20 or so games where I did pretty damn awful trying to get used to the new items/item system that was added a few months ago. xD

I have played a good amount of smite now but i still prefer League, but i sometimes just play some smite bcus they are both very diffrent that kinda says its self, but still nice haveing some fresh air away from league.

I think tiermonster counts the kills since you signed in on tiermonster and takes the wins and losses from the smite homepage? On my smite profile it says i have something over 6k kills, on tiermonster I have about 3k in total.

I honestly don't know why people not pick up Kali more in conquest. She is such a good solo laner, you can even put her as adc or mid. Many people pick her for jungle, but in my opinion, lane is better for her since she's a hyper lategame carry, like hunters/solos. Her sustain is extreme, especially with deaths toll. Her lifesteal jump is insane, at max rank lash you can clear full waves. Lategame you are a frontline, you can take damage and deal a lot of damage, people pick up aegis to counter her passive, but you just need to predict it. Her speed and mobility is insane, you need to pick out your targets with instinct but it gets easy with time. She is probably next to Thor one of the Assassins that can take damage and pretty much yolo aa lategame her way to the enemy titan. She is with Mercury one of the most brutal lategame assassins.

Kind of defeats the whole purpose of a statistics then.

I read on reddit that the big reason for her remodel was because the Chinese player base didn't see Nu Wa as the goddess they know. Complete bull shit if you ask me because several gods don't reflect how they are envisioned in real life.

I'm glad Smite is owned by a large company, but Tencent is know for doing stupid crap like this because they do it on league of legends all the time (Chinese client mostly). I don't get why they don't just have their own client that is separate from ours so they can do their own damn remodels and artwork.

Serkets ultimate is so annoying especially as a tank. The true dmg wtf stahp and the healing reduction... Her 2 is probably on the level of Athena taunt and extremely good, her 1 takes like 1/2 of squishys health late game and it can crit. The only thing I don't like is that she has 2 leaps/gap closer.

I feel the same way with the ultimate. I think they may have made her invisibility to be more fair so you can't run away with it, but I still don't like how it doesn't stay around you. I think I successfully used it for something once. I can use her 2 and 3 to set up an attack in an arena where I'll take out the player in one go since then I'll keep trapping them with her basic. The ultimate is so cheap because if someone is on the complete other side of the screen from you with no health you can just BOOM and they're dead.

True, I haven't read up on the actual mythology behind Nu Wa so I can't comment one what she "should" look like, funny that enough people would complain about something like that though. I think overall they do a decent job portraying the gods and goddesses.

I hope they rework Arachne (or leave her how she is) because I still have nightmares when she was ridiculous in the jungle. Not even release Fenrir could compete with her and release Fenrir was pretty damn broken.

Anyways I got a few of my friends to play this game and it was quite hilarious. One fed really hard, quit and said the game was terrible, while the other 2 liked it. So I might have enough people for premades soon.

Even if Arachne is weak atm, she is probably my least favorite god. Not only because I dislike spiders, also because her kit is boring. Compare her to other assassins and you'll see. Also, some card changes and legendary/diamond skin changes for next patch. You get legendary at rank 5 and diamond at rank 10. For some reason I can't get diamond loki?! on PTS. I think these stats are with domination stats? idk.

Does that mean I have to buy it again? If you don't get any special loading border like you did for the legendary skins I won't bother for awhile because they look really bad in game.

Oddly enough in this game with enough coordination with your team you can win with a disadvantage like that.

It feels so good to win a 3v5 tho. I've ended up in 2 other 3v5 but both those times nobody knew what to do and they kept going off and fighting alone and getting killed.

I've never played an assassin before and got Bastet and played her for the first time just now. I won my first game with her and got the 2nd most kills and least deaths so I don't think I'm doing too badly.

Assassins are too much fun, they need a lot more work then mages who just throw their stuff into fights. And Bastet is so fun to play, with that pounce. What do you build on her? I mostly go for Transcendence or Hearthseeker, then pen boots and jotuns, after it's mostly Titans Bane and some crit or defense. I like magis blessing on her as well. Her recolor is really awesome!

You get rewarded for playing an assassin well in this game. Good feeling.

So the new god basically has Ao Kuangs's kit while the current Ao Kuang is removed until his new kit is ready? Really weird they did it that way. I knew they were going to give him some of Ao's kit, but I didn't expect them to just paste the whole thing directly onto him. LOL

Also the Fenrir dance is exactly the same as Warwick's from LoL. I freakin love it and it was an insta buy for me!

The Smite Wiki says it is but from my experience you never trust wiki's on unreleased content when it comes to games. It also has it as a 600 gem skin and from what I saw the quality doesn't look like it should cost 600 (it could be unfinished though). I'll still buy it for 600 because the whole top hat and monocle thing on a wolf is hilarious. Definitely going to be my favorite skin.

If you have a source on it being an odyssey item please share. I'm really anxious about this item being a chest exclusive which could potentially mean I'd have to spend like $150 for it. I really hate these chest exclusive skins because it makes the company look really greedy when they pull things like that.

The Odyssey reminds me of a spenders tier list that almost every MMO does. Meaning if you buy all the items on it you get a special exclusive item. It's just to get people to spend a massive amount of money. Not hating on Hi-Rez for this but this definitely sounds like Tencent's doing. LOL

Saw the oddysey info on reddit and truth is like 50/50 on reddit. Yeah, chests seem kind of braindead. Got second place in a 1v1 tourney and won giveaways, gave out 4k gems for treasure chests now left with 100s of days boosters from all the vps I got. 2 people I know bought everything in the game via chests which is actually smart considering you save about 200~ gems per purchase. I still prefer saving for skins I actually like then mindless spending money on something I'll never use.

The idea of chest is fine (oh i have 200 gems but i don't really want anything in particular? *BUYS CHEST!*) but having exclusive skins in them is not. Fact of the matter is you shouldn't force people to dump loads of money on a gambling system for a piece of content they want. Other than all Fenrir skins and a couple of ward skins I'm not really interested in much of the other content.

Basically me dumping $150 for a single skin I want is a complete waste of money because I would probably never ever use any of the other stuff I'd get from it.

No other MobA does this aside from dota 2 but it's no where near as bad since there is a trading system within the game which is still very heavily frowned upon . LoL's chest doesn't have exclusive content aside from seasonal skins that are obtainable during their respective holiday events that come back every year. You can wait for the skin to come back into the store.

Honestly in the end a system like that is more likely to get me to stop spending money on their game because no one really wants to support a company that is blatantly money grubbing.

After being on the smite reddit and forums lately. I'm kinda disgusted with a lot of the people there already. Mostly due to how they react to things like new skins (content in general) and odyssey items.

New Fenrir skin datamined > Everyone complains that it's probably chest exclusive (including me).
Skin pretty much confirmed for Odyssey > A ton of people complain that it's NOT chest exclusive and it shouldn't be Odyssey.

Then a mass amount of people start bitching about Hel not getting an Odyssey skin. Not that she doesn't need a new skin but she sure as hell doesn't need to have 2 limited edition skins as her ONLY skins. At least new Fenrir players after this event will still have access to Metal Carnage, Frostfang and the Diamond Skin that looks good in game.

Honestly people just need to chill out when it comes to content. Unless it's chest exclusive then you have every right to be upset about that. I feel so bad for the Bacchus players right now.

From the looks of it a Hel skin probably is a lot more difficult to do when compared to other gods since she basically has 2 models. Similar issue with a champion on League until Riot basically said "FUCK IT! If we are doing a skin for this champion it's going to cost $30 bucks." XD

Honestly I would have gladly payed 600 gems for the Fenrir skin. The VP alone is worth that price, but 400 is definitely a fair honest deal. I also got Diamond Sword Ares from the chest roll which is a god I play when Fenrir is picked. So I definitely got way more than I payed for!

I swear all I do is lose in Smite now. Went from a 58% winrate to 52% in 2 damn days! Everyone on the forums said it's because all the arena and assault players are flooding conquest for the free gems so i get some pretty horrible players on my team almost every game.

I did manage to win a 4v5 just now though.



It's been a long time on any moba I've carried this hard. Quite frustrating actually.

I just played a Seige with one of my friends and the way we won was too fucking beautiful. While the 2 enemies up were pushing with their seige jug and their other 2 not being up for 30-40 seconds, he was playing Mercury and just went though the jungle and tanked their titan. We had their titan at really low health and he was hitting auto for like 900 but it was still fucking glorious.

There is nothing wrong with splitpushing. Matter of fact it's the only way I can win and carry games. I even get fed while doing it too.



Doesn't work all the time because some people are just impossible to carry like this 0/24 Hel I played with yesterday. Oh well my winrate in smite is really bad now but at least I still have a decent kda...

I'll only do conquest if I have someone to lane with. If I don't I always end up solomid against someone a million times better than me with their mastery 7-10 fancy skin mage.

Honestly I wouldn't be to threatened by a diamond skin player unless their KDA is ridiculous. People praise me about my Fenrir KDA every other game (I guess people actually take the time to look me up LMAO). It's weird because it's incredibly easy to pick people off and not die with that god.

High level masteries for a god basically means they invested a lot of time into that particular god. I have bad games with Fenrir all the time. xD

Herc is a god for people that don't really know what they are doing .-. Most people I play against with my main are like: "omg leftlick hard" "is kali really that easy?". Lately often when I solo queue people start bming teammates randomly for "feed" when they go negative or if they go something that isn't seen as good a retard. They aswell like to challenge people for 1v1s and try so hard that it kills them.

No clue how I've done it but yeah it happend:

I feel Kali is incredibly strong right now. She gets so many free stats it's ridiculous. You have to shut her down early or she will just win late game.

Looking forward to some of these nerfs next patch. Freya, Sylvanus and dear lord Rama. I think Freya needed more than what she got and I also feel Arachne is still beyond stupid but I've always hated that god so negative bias there.

I'm going to rage quit this game again because of match making. There is no reason I should ever get match against a premade of 3 30's while my team consist of mostly mid level 20's and a level 9. It's disgusting!

What Kali gets for free stats compared to Merc is nothing. What makes these two strong lategame is the same reason why adcs are strong late. And nobody plays Kali or Chronos anyway. But I see them coming up a lot more lately, Chronos was never really picked because he lacks an early/midgame if you don't go Doom orb and he has no passive. Kali has no gank potential and her passive requires her to get kills which makes it useless in competitive situation. Right now the passive is bugged, if your target dies you get an assist.

The "free stats" is the reason stuff like mercury is so good because it allows him to skip on items that almost every other assassin has to pick up to fulfill the role. They really should just nerf his passive because that is where his problem is but they keep nerfing other stuff in his kit. =\

They are as good as hunters late game because they are allowed to build almost the exact same items and not get punished for it.

Chronos is a late game god and should stay that way. If they change him power will definitely need to be shifted not just buffed or he will be ridiculous throughout the game.

Tell me about bugs. Fenrir's ulti is still bugged. Not as bad as it was but his ulti is still ridiculously bugged to where I've died and lost out on kills because of it.

I'm probably done with this game until the new matchmaking proves it's worth. The people I've been matched with lately have been so obnoxious to the point I can't even rely on purely split pushing to win anymore. There have been a few games where I've taken the enemy Phoenix and was chased around the jungle by 5 people for like 1-2 minutes and instead of my team using their brains and taking objectives they would rather sit in base and bitch about how bad I am.

Matchmaking is pretty bad right now. I feel like conquest is hit extremly hard by it. I rarely win when I don't play mid and get a lot of people under lebel 30. I don't mind them, but had an adc few days ago doing less damage then a support chronos building midas boots + sov. People tend to just ignore calls, laugh with their crappy "jajajajaja" after the match and write random insults in their own language. So many people told me I suck for splitpushing. So many challenges for 1v1s.

I know how strong Chronos is with his insane scaling. But like other mages (vulcan, isis) he just lacks a passive. And since they removed gem of binding, normal fatalis, which benefit him a lot he fell out of favor. People tend to joke when the enemy surrenders early: report Chronos for doing nothing. But as long as his sexy diamond skin and the awesome voicelines stay, he will be one of my favorite gods.

People haven't grasped the concept of early and late game gods yet because they are used to stuff like Freya and Mercury wrecking face at every stage of the game.

I get to play with/against pro players in LoL all the time and it's pretty amazing. I probably won't play ranked in this game for a very long time.
Also this new MM seems pretty decent then again I've only played like 5 games so idk.

Hi-Rez giving 5000 favor and 200 gems per month by simply just logging in is extremely generous. They have been throwing around so many gem events and free rewards so often lately it's actually kinda scaring me. D:

Really hope the game is doing well because something similar happened in another game I played that died. Then again their population is really high so not really worried about Smite dying anytime in the near future.

I finally played again a couple days ago for the first time in a month. When coming back, idk what it is, but I feel like everyone is twice and angry and twice as bad as they were before. I was on a team with 2 "pro" players, one had a master 7 Thanatos and the other had a mastery 8 something, but I forget what. They played way too aggressively, kept getting themselves killed for no reason, and then we lost because they were dead pretty much the whole time.

I do find that the raging 12 year olds seem to be more common in smite now that it's population is growing.

Maybe it's just me, but I felt like those kids always existed. Even if the community is way better then in a lot of other online games that are f2p. The bigger games are kind of a magnet for such people, just look at League of Legends.

What kind of grinds my gears of lately in Smite are the queues. This is a regular Joust League queue for me...

My queue times for Arena and Conquest are always less than 30 seconds. Joust is either a really underplayed game mode or your MMR is just that high. LOL

Joust is far from being underplayed, but at my MMR it kinda is. Aswell it got really easy to dodge (most people know I don't solo queue, so if they see me in no party and joining queue they know I'll queue Joust). The other queues are from 30 seconds - 3 min for me.

I know that Smite is trying to improve matchmaking, and recently I have had more close matches, but yesterday while playing a bit with my clan, we were up against 3 people with mastery 10's and 5000+ kills on each. Thanks improved matchmaking!

An upside tho is that foreign servers have become more stable. I was playing with 2 people in my clan and the leader was someone from Australia, so it was connecting to Australian servers. I was very surprised and happy that I had no lag at all while playing on them.

Well partys kinda fuck up matchmaking When I 4 man queue Siege and it happens that we have some master/high ranked players with their tryhard face that try to break our old record of speedrun Siege (6 min) we get a lot of salty people. If we wouldnt have queued as a party the team would be split fair I guess.

As much hate Nox get, she is probably one of the best counters to He Bo. And she got damage that is also quite decent. Whats funny is that she kinda negates her own kit (ult and 2). And her 1 is the most useless skill ever...

I think I have a Seige record of 7 minutes. The other team just happened to be 4 really bad people.

At first when seeing Nox I really wanted her, but after looking into her moves and seeing how other people play as her, I really don't want her now. Better save my gems and favor for someone better :U Speaking of gems, I need to buy more skins, but lazy. AAAAAAA BUT THAT NEW SCYLLA SKIN.

Nox is a poorly designed anti mage. They should just rework her because no amount of number tweaks is going to save that theme with her current kit.

Also Siege MM is incredibly messed up because it's plagued with premades.

I have yet to buy skins, but I really really want a few ;-; Is it worth it to buy skins?

I own every single Fenrir skin. Even the gold and diamond ones.
4 Ra skins 2 were free though (alienware and solar eclipse) and have yet to play a single game with that god.

There are some free skins like the facebook, twitter and youtube skins.

I buy what I really like and in Fenrir's case it's all of his skins. <3
Honestly if you play a specific god a ton it's definitely worth it.

Yeah I play Kuku and Artemis a lot, and I have been getting into Scylla and Freya more recently.
I'm prolly going to go for Sacred Dragon for Kuku and maybe also gold and legendary, and then I really want Lil' Red for Scylla. I'll prolly pour $25 into gems or something and see what I can get.

I already have the Stalker Skin for Artemis and Water Dancer for Nu Wa.

I've spent well over $200 on this game and I don't play it that much. LOL

1% of Smite's population plays ranked Joust. 3% for Ranked conquest.

I got the Lil' Red skin for Scylla so I got a free odyssey chest. Surprisingly, it spit out something I wanted. It gave me the voice pack for Kuku.

So many people are scared of playing ranked because they could get stomped (especially 1v1). There are 2 kinds of 1v1 players, the ones that play for fun, the others (just look at Mexxtex) that try to win no matter what (Backdoor, Cheese, literally spamming games). Since the new queue system I started playing on my other level 30 acc Redàlice to get shorter queues and easy matches. And against conq ranked, I by myself get bored at picking/banning.

I own everything in the game except recolors. Some exceptions are Golden/Diamond He Bo, Diamond Merc. I rarely buy Gold skins, more likely I'll buy a Legendary or Diamond skin. It's really easy to get gems with tournaments/free gem days/giveaways on twitch. My friend in Smite gave me 8000 gems on my birthday so I just bought most of the skins in chests with them.

I'm not a big fan of ranked because it is a stressful environment and people get extremely upset over the tiniest minuscule mistake.

I didn't go into ranked on LoL until 3 years after I hit level 30 in that game.

My stats overall are really bad. When I see stats pages that combine all modes I cringe since Joust 1v1 destroys everything. Recently saw a lot more hackers in Smite. Wezired/Symzer got banned (thanks god, his autoaim was a pain to go against, so were his wallhacks...).
