I don't argue that his consistency is quite impressive but that wont make him "cookiezi-tier", if you're talking about that map that he did with dt 1000x~ combo and missed at the end, it is nothing but a challenge of consistency. However, if it is the same map we're talking about here I didn't see "really damn hard" anywhere.

there is only one hard part which is a very small part. You can pass the song about 15times and memorize that one part and voila. There are plenty of high rewarding easy dt songs, I'm not really trying to be offensive, just want to point out the facts and im not saying that he's overranked but i think he is quite far from the skill that people around his rank have.

I think pp/rank in general is a very stupid way of trying to measure your actual skill, you can whore your way to top 1k by playing DTHD hards, which says enough.

e: Not saying that it's any less creditable than non-DT top 1k, but look at sayo/harucchi, I'm sure everybody knows who's the better player

I've not once tried to tell him what he should play, if so, please do point out where. Only thing I've stated that to be "Cookiezi-tier" (the very topic and motive behind this discussion, if anybody still remembers that), a big deal of versatility is required. Cookiezi was regarded for his accuracy, speed, aim, stamina and reading, DT has just one of these factors: speed.

So no, saying something such as "Everyone plays whatever they want" in a thread titled as "The Road to Cookiezi-Tier" is utterly naive, and as such this thread would be called "The road to farming DT maps"

I can't beat his score on that map, always missing one or two of the jumps. OP is proud of passing 25% of freedom dive (4D?), I've passed 80% of it. How do you define "the skill that people around his rank have"?

maybe the moral of the story is noone is perfectly well rounded and anyone of similar rank is going to have traits they are better and worse than their similar ranked peers at on average. i'd venture to guess that yours is streaming, WubWoobWiz's is aim.

It's probably good that WW trains his aim as early as possible because IMO Cookiezi's main attribute that put him so far ahead of everyone else was, and indeed still is, his unmatched aim.

He isn't forcing him to play something else, why do you even respond to him if the opinion on Wobos are clearly not addressed to YOU, there will never be the same opinion on something from every person. Besides, you've mentioned he isn't as good as Woobo and has 10k more PC, this person has played over 2years of osu and ONLY has 10k more PC than him. go argue elsewhere if you want to get to some conclusion. the road to cookiezi-tier can be obtained in multiple ways, all of which require much time and effort. sometimes learning multiple things, i.e. hr and dt, does not help. some times things are more easily achieved in pieces depending on the person.

you can almost always loophole your way out of what you say, but the tone of voice can imply many a things. all of you are being dicks right now, and being ignorant of what others are saying.

if you really want to argue about the best way to get there, go ask cookiezi and see what he did. I can guarantee that he did not go through any sort of planned hardcore training.
