Oh, I did not see this coming in the slightest.
I find some people too introverted. I do isolate myself from the outside world completely for like a week but I like hanging with my friends.

Dem tactics yo. I still have to read up on the "personality type" thing.... INFJ seems to be very rare from what I could read so far.
The problem with these tests is that they're kind of dumbed down to get more people to understand them. The difference between J and P is not a simple order/chaos divide, it's to help order functions (look them up, they're difficult to explain quickly). That's why most of these tests give me INFP for preferring to be flexible and keeping my options open, but I know I am in fact an INFJ thanks to the functions.
I've been reading up on my INFJ for the past hour (ever since I took the test above) and no matter where I look it up - after analyzing it comes out as exactly what I'm like... even if I'm not gleeful when it comes to some points.
I guess that's the best way to confirm which type you are - check out what the general idea is for each type instead of doing it letter-by-letter. The main way I found out I was an INFJ and not an INFP was that I related more to other people who were also INFJs.Aurani wrote:

Click on that link "ENFP" to read up on it. I suggest you also visit other sites and compare it to every other source, to be sure that you don't miss out on anything.
So, after taking the whole picture into account as well as every detail (from my own perspective) I can easily conclude that it describes me pretty well.
I still can't wrap my mind around the fact that I would be great with an ENTP or ENFP around though...
I did that as well, and it still matches up perfectly. I also asked some people that know me rather well and spammed them with all the info, and just one of them disagreed with half of it, while others came to the conclusion that it is a 95% match.orza6006 wrote:

Well yesterday I went out and actually took the same test and got examined by a proper psychologist and even if we rule out that I got the same answer on every test online - it still can't rule out the fact that I got the same thing irl too. There's apparently not a single mistake in that site's test - at least as far as it goes for me... even if it surprised me in an unpleasant way (at first I didn't like my type at all).Granger wrote:

Reading about ENTP... i also can relate to that, more than to INTJ. Only thing not fitting is the extraverted part. To be more specific, i have no idea why this type is associated with extraverted, i certainly love arguing and am blunt as does the not neccesarily liked part. I have a tendency to be unpopular but its not like i mind that, in fact i prefer that because most people leave me alone except a few i can argue with. Wheres the extraverted part here? I also redid the same test, the result didnt change much... Little less prospecting and a bit more thinking. Doesnt surprise me that it surprised you unpleasantly, in my oponion you dont seem like INFJ, at least from what i know about you, which is arguably not that much considering i know you since barely 2 months only.
From this test it seems like we're not compatible, esp with the tactics. If we'd life together i can imagine a lot of stress there, with me being so relaxed about work while you're pretty serious there.
But does that matter so much? I mean, we dont life together (and likely wont ever do), i like you so we cant be as incompatible as this test says, can we?
The thing is, there's only one person who has ever learned enough about me to be able to tell if my personality matches it or not - and that person came to the same conclusion I did. EVERYTHING in INFJ matches me except for the part about me not liking to argue (I actually love arguing quite a lot). Everything else matches perfectly - be it to my liking or not. I'd quite want to hear your opinion on my personality, now that you mentioned I'm "different" in your eyes.Granger wrote:

It would also be rather hard living with another introvert, especially INTP, as I'm quite emotional and seek other emotionally expressive people who can offer and show unconditional love - something mostly types like ENTP can provide. I shouldn't be stereotyping like that, but that's how it mostly goes anyways...
