A gift to you all:
It's a short animation named Shan Shui Qing(The Feelings of Mountain and Water) regarding the passing of skills of an instrument named zheng from the old master to the young student: The old master, after what probably happened to be a stroke realized that he will die, and worries that his skills of the zheng will be lost. However, after hearing the musical skills of the young boat rower through one of his flute repertoires, he found a solution: he will teach the young boat rower. He originally worried about whether he will succeed, but after seeing eagles learning to fly after their father/mother, he realized it can be done.
The master takes the student to various places of mountain and water to let the students interpret the feelings of the mountain and water and master the skills of the zheng, and in the end, when the old master goes to some other place, he passes the student his zheng. As the student worries that he will not fully emulate his master, he plays it for the first time on his own.
It is probably the masterpiece of Chinese animation for its beautiful animation, symbolism of the ancient Chinese culture, and its vivid imagery. In fact, there has never been a better Chinese animation after it. It stood at the edge of aesthetics and commercialization. Today people are probably to impetuous to make such a piece of art, it will take too enormous a budget(look at the goddamn finger animation when the master is playing the zheng!).

Perfect example of people not respecting artwork from different cultures and being cavemen on a cultural level. Provided that is handmade, it is a beautiful piece of art - if not, meh, still a nice copy.

Ugh, its way too hot in my room to do anything. Expecially playing Osu. Concentrating and sweaty hands on the mouse is no fit.
