the sunlight in the SB disappears a shitload of times, maybe it's a glitch? for example:

and i'd recommend adding epilepsy warning, never know how sensitive some people might be
sb is glorious other than that i finally get to star this \:D/

disappears when an object covers it in my diff :P will make it work for the other diffs later, since i dont want to have to change it every time placement changes

also i will apply mod and update soon (once rrt gives me his hs)

EDIT: So on the SB,
Really nice, I especially liked the lightning, but some of the fade-ins with regards to lighting seem a bit choppy. Mayhaps it's just my computer, I don't know, but maybe you should check that out.

  3. 02:08:676 (1,2,3) - Thought the hitsounds could be more exciting, but can't think of anything particular to do with them. orz
  4. 02:25:676 (5) - Better without whistle I guess?
  5. 03:25:509 - 03:26:176 - Meant to be whistle in these places. doesn't really matter tbh

  1. 08:55:686 - The rain effect that comes in here looks sloppy. Like the crispness of the rain droplets looks WAY too muffled to look realistic. Not to mention that the droplets themselves are too big, too slow and too condensed.
  2. With the lighting flashes that come in at 08:56:186 - and such, maybe add in a masked version of the background over the top of the current one with patches of it masked and feathered with blue highlights. This will greatly increase the effect of the lightning strikes and also make your SB more 3-dimensional.

i want to find someone to help me redo the rain section... ideally, each rain particle should be separate, but that requires coding, and I have absolutely no idea how to code (so i just found an ugly rain image and scaled it up orz)
the lightning .png images already have some parts of the BG with blue highlights in them, but i suppose i can try to exaggerate it some more to make it stand out better

i'll apply / respond to mods for the actual map in a bit. thanks to everyone that has helped!

with OD8, i doubt that people will SS or otherwise tie on this (somewhat challenging) 10 minute map.
I'll consider the OD some more, but atm I feel that 8 is more appropriate... 9 just seems a bit too much imo.

Maybe I'd make a suggestion, I think this will make much more epic than it already is (best map of 2014?).
I think it's good idea to add samples of sounds of rain and thunder. In the rain section (08:56:353 - 09:17:020 -), the music is soft, and because of this I feel it is a bit disconcerting because the mute thunder xD!
I know it's something that think and consider, but if you choose to do so, I venture to suggest the following sounds I found:
