No idea. As far as I know, Osu on windows is compatible with Razer Synapse. I don't have the interest of debugging the error since I use a tablet for playing osu on my mac.

Hey am I the only one that has osu not even opening anymore?is there any way i could do to fix it?
Running it in a lower resolution helps. Also, running less things in the background significantly help.IchigoSaki wrote:
How does one go about to keep his/her mac cool while you play osu?
It helps but it will still heat up. i have zero other applications open, a minimal window for osu and on OpenGL but will still heat up quicklyNovixion wrote:

I personally use 300 FPS limiter.Agrrox wrote:
Well, I was afraid that my macbook is overheating because he runned always on high temperature. But fact is that macbooks were made to run very hot, if your macbook will get harmed there is fuze that will automaticaly turn off macbook when temperature will reach certain limit.
Maybe you have unlimited fps turned ON ? If so, try to use custom frame limiter instead maybe it will help.
Also a crucial thing that drasticaly helped me to keep macbook much more cooler was cleaning the dust and dirt from fans.
U can buy cooling pad for laptops too.
And also its because of wineskin. When you run a Windows application through Wine the game's code is first taken to Wine, then X11, then OS X and then finally to the hardware. which is kinda resource intensive and can cause lags and delays. This may vary from game to game how much lag and delays you get.
yeah i get that sometimes as wellVertify wrote:
I've had this problem for awhile but hadn't really thought of posting it. The problem starts after a few games played (without exiting/restarting osu).
Fixing it is no problem - simple forcequit and run it again but... still a problem.
I got a friend to spectate onto when I 'reached' this point
Edit: The problem - Sliders began to 'disappear' or lightly flash.
yes to all mode except ctb mode for meTsuchimikado wrote:
Currently, what frustrates me is that, when you play four or five songs, by that time, frame rate starts to drop. When frame rate drops, it doesn't read spins as fast, slider breaks occur more often, and accuracy is lowered because the cursor can't move fast enough. Anyone else experience this?

Were there any solutions for the mentioned delay? i am still needing to use -200 universal offset with effects turned off. what could be causing this? and does that inply there could be huge lag on my system even outside osu?
I am playing windowed 1024x768, frame rate is always stable

8g ram
Intel HD Graphics 4000 1024 MB
Thanks

I actually have the same problem, although i'm running an old mac. I think it has something to do with a delay on the keyboard-input.Nuek wrote:

Actually, yes. I noticed that it hasnt been working since i installed Razer Synapse but then again I havent played osu for a while long before I installed it so i assumed the game was simply not up-to-date. Does Razer Synapse interfere with the game?mockingod wrote:
Did you install Razer Synapse since the last time you opened it?
It's only bouncing on the dock then disappearing as if the app opens then immediately closes on its own.Kurogamii wrote:

I can't find any old Synapse for mac, mind helping me?mockingod wrote:
Yes, apparently there is something in Razer Synapse 2.0 that interferes with Osu! on your mac. It seems to be Osu!'s fault, as it used to work before with Razer Synapse a long time ago (I used Synapse too).
Unfortunately there has been no solution for it posted since it started happening. I have no idea what the problem is myself. It's been suggested that you find an older version of synapse for your mac (1.2 or something). People said that still works.
Apparently there's a problem with razer synapse and osu on mac.Wafuuu wrote:
i've already uninstalled and redownloaded it, and yes i use razer sypnase

Possible solutions are to downgrade to synapse version 1.2, or perhaps uninstall synapse altogether.
I don't use razer synapse
Try disabling Snaking Sliders, Storyboards and Shader Effects.gotmilkyyyy wrote:
HI, im having some lag issues with osu. When im on the start up screen or get into a song, i get aroun 120 fps. However when the slide things load up, my game stutters and fps drops making it very difficult to play. Is there a fix for this? Ive tried turning off all the details and going into cfg to change it to a lower resolution. I dont have any background things running which can affect performance.
here are my specs, i am running 10.6.8 snowleopard, amd radeon 6750m graphics card. Using WS9Wine 1.7.16
