[General]
  • • For some reason it showed that you had LetterBox warnings under AiMod before but now it seems to be gone and no warnings at all. Just to be sure, check the AiMod again.
    • Due to a recent rule that was added about custom difficulty names, you need to change the Death Difficulty name to Extra. If you want to be sure about it, contact a BAT member. fixd

    Comments: Nothing much to say which it has appropriate slider velocity, HD,CS,AR, and OD. Some reason I can say that I didn't encounter any major problem in this difficulty. Even though my result was not as great, it's because of other small factors that didn't have to do with the difficulty.

  1. 00:45:526 (1,2,3,4,5,6) - This part felt a bit off for me, you can still decide to keep it or consider doing something with the circle notes to make it have more of a flow to it. Here's my suggestion if you want to accept it or not; it's a jump that I believe felt better.
    Explanation on how I done it, Pictures and Code for it
    Explanation
    Long story short, after mixing and changing around with the circle notes, I re-positioned circle note 1~5 to a new location. Then I copy and pasted circle notes 1, 3, 6, flipped it horizontally, adjusted the scale down to 0.730x and had it replace the circle notes for 2, 4 , 5 as well as rotating it by around 13~. Finally I reverse selected notes 1~5 to make it something like the pictures I had provided for you to see. As you can see it's a jumping sequence instead of the original which I believe this is better and smoother. The code is also provided below. fixd

  6. 01:48:842 (6,7,8,9) - The part felt a bit weird for me since the distance snap immediately decreases to 1.00x so maybe have that as a short jump? Maybe it's because 01:48:053 (1,2) threw me off and gave me 100s for the rest. fixd that pattern a little
  7. 01:50:974 (3,1,1) - Felt a bit weird to have circle note 1 to be overlapped by the slider, which would probably make people think it's a 1/4. You can keep it or you can consider changing it's position or mess around with those 3 notes. Here's an idea from me that you could try if you want to: I will stay with my pattern, but fixed that overlap

    Comments: Appropriate HD,CS,AR, and OD. The slider velocity seem to be the same as insane though I doubt it's a problem. Can say for sure if you're going for a flow map; was quite challenging as I played it several times to beat it. Not good with having to deal with many stacks and streams because I'm bad at it but it's manageable. I believe there are more things that can be changed to make it even better but I haven't encountered them all.

Although I'm no expert with storyboarding I noticed while testing this that some parts exceed a 5.0x load which as mentioned under guidelines on the Ranking Criteria page, is not recommended. Again, not an expert with this so I can't be sure whether or not it's really an issue.
[Kin's Easy]

00:40:632 (1) - I suggest you move this slider to the right to avoid the slight touching caused by stack leniency in gameplay. It would make things look cleaner:

Currently as you play, it looks like this (notice how the stacked note appears to touch the slider):



If you do something like this, the awkward touching can be avoided:

00:52:632 (3,1) - This stack is inconsistent with how you decided to handle stacks throughout this diff as if you look, almost all of the stacks have 1/1 between the objects, and in this case there is 2/1. I would unstack these notes to avoid making beginner players accidentally hit too early.
00:53:263 (1) - Rotate this slider by -4° using the selection centre as your origin to get a proper blanket with 00:52:947 (3).
01:36:526 (1,2,3,4) - This would fit way more nicely with the music if you shifted this entire combo 1/2 earlier to get it starting at the beginning of the stanza cause I was definitely expecting to hit something on 01:36:211 considering how you started the previous two combos on the strong downbeats and didn't for this one.
01:37:474 - If you followed the previous suggestion it would be very fitting to add a note here
01:41:263 - ^
01:44:737 (4,1,2,3,1) - Some of these are questionable sliders for an Easy since how the anchors appear to manipulate slider velocity just barely (which is unrankable to a degree I believe). I'm not going to say remove them outright but BATs may question them.
03:14:737 (1,2) - This one is most likely unrankable.
03:21:053 (2,1) - Can fix the blanket a little here. It's easy to notice while playing that the tail and head pinch together more closely.
03:40:000 (1) - End the spinner on 03:42:526. Every other diff in the mapset either ends or breaks here so consistency would be nice.

00:50:737 - It's kind of strange how you pick up on using whistles much more frequently at this point even though there isn't much noticeable change in the music. Consider adding more whistles up to here.
01:10:947 (1,2,3) - Certainly nice can blanket nicely around (2) I would think.
01:15:053 (3) - This rhythm doesn't fit very well because you continue to play to the beat even though the crashing sounds are most prominent in the music right now. In particular the reverse on the white tick just feels strange. I would remove the reverse on 01:14:105 (2) so you can start 01:14:737 (3) on the strong downbeat and extend it to reverse on the red tick to fit the sounds in the BGM more nicely. Try it out. Essentially a similar rhythm as 01:19:789 (3).
Example
01:15:053 (3) - The finish on the tail isn't emphasizing anything, I would remove it.
01:18:842 (2) - Whistle on the head would sound nice here as you had two in a row with 01:17:579 (4,5) and it sounds a bit empty to just have a whistle on the reverse after hearing the 2 consecutive whistles.
01:26:737 (3) - It would feel more intuitive to have this slider start on either 01:26:105 or 01:26:421 as the way you began this combo isn't consistent with how you'd previously been following the music for this section. A simple fix would be to swap (2) and (3) on the timeline:

01:46:316 (1) - The drum sampleset on this slider is fine but that clap on the tail just sounds very random and doesn't fit at all imo, I would remove it. Also since you used a drum sampleset here, wouldn't it also make sense to have it on 01:43:789 (1)?
02:04:000 (1) - Whistle on the tail
02:04:632 (2) - Remove whistle
02:07:789 (2) - Whistle
01:47:579 (3) - Finish on the head.

As previous modders mentioned, the hitsounding is inconsistent and could use some more attention. Hopefully the few suggestions I left will be helpful. The difficulty itself is quite nice, especially during the kiai. At the very least I hope you use the suggestion highlighted in blue.

Just to answer your SB mod, no its not a problem. It can go higher than 5x but not recommended. The main problem with this, even if you just add a little effect it goes up to 3x so it isn't hard to reach 5x. And you probably noticed the SB itself isn't that bad, kinda similar to some nightcore one.

About the difficulty mod. I used everything you mentioned altough I had some hard time while i changed things. I hope everything looks good (or not). :3 Thanks for the mod.

Thats true. But you probably need m4m with one of them. But its easy to find BAT for a standard only mapset.For Taiko its almost impossible. \o/

General
- The actual length and drain time difference was relatively large, with about 65-70% of the song as drain time. The cutoff is actually 80% in order to use the whole mp3. This was more problematic in Insane & Extra mainly because of the last 5 notes. I understand you're highly against deleting those and I think the idea is really cool! Like how it represents a heart pulse dying out. But I wanna ask you to reconsider again because of that rule and how a player might feel sitting through the break intervals.

- Highly recommend you get a larger bg. I think it'd enhance the quality of map overall, even if it's subtle :P

- cool SB xD! A little thing that bothered me was the sudden appearance of the crack at 01:41:579 (1) - . Perhaps you could find a better transition, like a couple flashes of the crack before it?

- In Kin's Easy, the kiai time is supposed to end at 03:42:526 - like the other diffs

- Hard seems to be missing a combo color. Please keep the combo colors consistent here.

- In Kin's Easy, the kiai time is supposed to end at 03:42:526 - like the other diffs

- Hard seems to be missing a combo color. Please keep the combo colors consistent here. I used red combo colours for slider speed ups on insane and extra diff (if its necessary, i will add red combo colour to hard diff)
