Valentines day avatar!~

Originally, the border was more pink, but it looked retarded with the white forum borders, so I tried changing it a bit. Needless to say, it was difficult to make it look sufficiently pink while not becoming too retarded when put with the forum border. (it's still best viewed ingame)

I still can't swap Tamamo out after all this time!

Rendered the BG out and replaced the old text with calligraphy. I must've spent like an hour looking for nice calligraphy font but ended up using the Epson ones =.=

But the white pixel remnants aren't as beautiful to look at, to be honest. If you're interested, I made a load of Cirno avatars a few weeks ago (when I had no internet, other Touhou characters as well) I could share with you. Just so you know.

Not sure if you planned for it, but the light shining on Miku looks like it's mostly from the back, which makes it really fitting for the plain white background, like a very bright light source, I like it.

I should fix up a new avatar for myself, but so little pictures that I like...

I kinda planned for it.
I made about 160 Miku avatars some time ago and made them all 128x128px, so yeah, while making them, I had this forum in mind.

So, another Miku avatar. Looks better than the last one if you ask me. And yes: I have about a 160 more in stock, in case I ever need them. In fact, I put them on DeviantArt as a Miku avatar package just a few weeks ago.

Damn, I'm kind of disappointed that this thread got moved. Personally I was sort of fond of this thread, and I felt that the posts in here warranted more than the average "20 seconds of executive thought" that the other threads in this silly Surveys subforum present.

And I really have to say, mister nuts, that the name on your avatar doesn't even concern me in the slightest (which damn well means something) since it blends in so well with the cleaver. In fact, it looks a bit like it was the brand the cleaver was made from. If it even is a cleaver, of course.

The original Fallout came with a pack of avatars when I installed it, and this is one of them. There are 5 avatars in total, but this one is my favorite.

Framing was quite difficult with this one. I tried to do a little sticking-out-of-border effect, but with this image I didn't have much choice but to go with the white forum-border style, and it's a pretty thin one, so the sticking-out effect is really subtle here. I had to cheat a little to make it work. Also, her head is huge so... in addition to the framing troubles, it was even more difficult to get the font to sit right, and not have too much of the rest of her cropped off.
....I-I tried my best though...!

I've just finished watching Inu X Boku SS and so I decided to make an avatar/signature combo with Roromiya Karuta in it.
She is just so goddamn adorable and sweet (and, by the way, has the most badass youkai-transformation in the entire anime) that I just HAD to pick her. I instantly fell in love. So. Adorable.

Although these pieces of art I littered the avatar/signature space with are rather generic (as opposed to the more or less unusual artstyle of my previous avatar), but I found nothing else that would properly appeal to me. Also, it is ADORABLE.
