Black Sheep is using another kind of skill, and it's pretty cool. You can take a look at his replays. Amamiya Yuko (Skystar) is using the same skill.

That being said, I've only had to switch nibs once in the past year or so.
I recently found a way to play without wearing out the nibs or scratch the tablet.
So I basically taped a Maplestory game card onto the area that I use.
The tablet still is able to sense the pen, and the surface becomes smooth.
Never have to worry about replacing those nibs, ever!
