HOLY SHIT THIS GAME MAN
IT WAS SOOOO CLOSE
WE WERE 3 INHIBS AND 2 NEXUS TURRETS DOWN
THEY THREW SO HARD AT A FIGHT AT BARON
THIS WAS SO MUCH MORE EXCITING THAN ANY LCS GAME HAS EVER BEEN
I AM STILL SHACKING WITH EVERY INCH OF MY BODY
I started changing my attitude in this game drastically for the new Season. Usually I would have already given up after around 30 minutes because there was literally no chance of winning. But I pulled myself together, tried to ignore flamers and just play the game. It works!

Really happy about CLG. They looked shaky at some times but their rotations and 5-man pushes really showed that they have been training. This is only their first match and they show more coordination than the previous season. I really see them improving a lot more and making less mistakes, leading to a really high amount of wins this season. I wanna see them at the top.

Silver doesn't even exist, it's full of plat/diamond players who lost their promotes and once in a while actual silver players.
I didn't play at resets before and it was a right choice.

I used to be 3-0 in my placements because I got the roles I wanted. Afterwards I always ended up on 4th pick, resulting in a 3-4 now. GG

@BrokenArrow : Is it advised to start with a red pot in this case ? Also, which skills should I level at 1 and 2 ?
W at lvl 1, Q at lvl 2, a red pot isn't even neccessary in most cases. His lvl 2 is just so strong.

Same thing happened here, I also finished my placement games (finally) and ended up in Silver III after 5-5. Not too bad considering people from Plat being in a similar spot now.

Top lane has to be the most boring unfun lane now.
With how retarded the defense tree is it makes a lot of the match up top ridiculous. You just ignore the enemy top lane and split push. If I wanted to PVE for 40 minutes I would just go play some MMO.

I'm playing on EUNE now too with a smurf, as far as I've seen they're even more toxic than EUW

Agressive bot lane works well as always... guess my brother and I will just go Leona/Varus or Zyra/Graves for our placement matches.

Building damage still works in a lot of matchups. Offence tree got buffed as well, don't forget. It's part of the reason Riven was so strong.Vulf wrote:

It got nerfed and buffed, but it didn't receive anything significant like the defense tree did.

Been spamming Katarina recently, terrible winrate despite lane/roam performace being higher than I expected. But she's so fun.
Still, I don't see the point of me being kicked down into silver only to get 30 lp gains, but 5-9 lp deductions for losses.

It doesn't make many sense, placements, a well known spanish diamond I 95 LP toplaner got placed on gold I, he's been winning 40+ LP per win and losing like 5, but well

I fucking hate this reset. From being Diamond 1 to being matched with Golds/Plats, because everyone that was Diamond 1 played like a shitton of games and climbed immediately, but I took my time and started playing just now, so I'm matched with handicaped guys I swear to god...

Everyone from Challenger/D1/D2 and some of D3 from LAS got placed in Platinum 1. It sucks but if you are diamond tier you should be fine getting to it again.

They didn't. Only a few are in diamond now, and they did it the same way you are describing. They played vs Gold/Plat and after that they climbed. As I already said, if you are diamond tier it should be fine for you to climb perhaps slower but climbing for sure. I also played very late, yesterday exactly, went 6-4 and got placed Plat 1. Lose first 2 placement matches, next thing that happens is you get placed with people that never seen a turret and are scared to even come close to take a look at it... If I take 6 objectives before my team takes 1.. sad days, atleast I was adc.
Next game.. same happens and I'm forced to push waves back as support since other laners prefer fighting together over wraiths camps and go duo wolves after and run 5 circles when they were done with that....
Placements are no fun anymore
EDIT: I have to comeback from that one, last placement I experienced the first succesfull inh turret siege in which we killed the turret slowly in 4-5 waves. Have never seen that happen, always someone gets caught, or someone thinks he has to initiate.. Nice to experience.

I hate people who do crap like that. Kills solely do not have as much as a heavy impact on the game anymore. A lot of people don't realize if you go 300/0, but don't end the game before the 40 minute mark you can actually lose because of the ambient gold changes that pretty much alone gives you a full build at 40-50 minutes in.

That's the good thing about older stuff becoming strong again, because that means their old counters come back as well. Mordekaiser has always been a great pick against Morgana.
