Id like to see a new type of beat, that has a player drag from the general middle of their screen to the edge of the screen (or reversed). It would be also good if you could include a set distance by the beatmapper and the direction of whichever the beat is facing, like maybe an arrow.

The beat can be similar to a slider. A slider is good, but it is trapped within the speed of the ball. With a dragger, a player is forced to drag from point (or gate) A to B. The keyword is it has to be done "within" a certain amount of time from when the dragger activates.

Lets say a slider is programmed to go from point A to point B in a strait line in 1/2 a beat. A beatmapper can make the dragger required for the same interval or more/less. Points could also come from how fast its done, or accuracy of a line. Since it wont be confined by the slider ball, it can allow for possibly more dynamic maps. It would also be fun to see

You mean like this? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2yI5ESYz12I&t=6m8s I'm really having a hard time understanding.

I'm pretty sure that a LOT of mappers(or new ones) will abuse this(if it ever gets implemented) by placing 293849238492348draggers onto their maps saying that it's not wrong as they were trying to make their map more dynamic and "unique". Also, " A beatmapper can make the dragger required for the same interval or more/less" ISN'T going to help most players in their rhythm(well I'm sure it won't for me anyway)

"A slider is good, but it is trapped within the speed of the ball" This is called slider velocity and is set, so that players don't get confused over 48294823different sliders speed. In fact if I remember correctly only 3different SV are allowed in a map currently and of course it's more bad than good to enable LOTS OF different SV(In this case " intervals") as it will cause major confusion. This may not be for everyone but it would cause quite a confusion for most ModUsers.

I hate to give so much bad criticism, but I just don't like how this "Dragger Beat" works. IF your idea is actually the same as the vid Myke B is showing then I would like to know how people are going to differentiate between Sliders & Draggers.

The main issue with this is that it would play literally horribly. I can kind of get an idea of what you're trying to go for, but honestly, you're sort of forgetting the fact that osu! is a rhythm game. A rhythm game requires you to hit notes in rhythm. Spinners are out of rhythm, but they're in an isolated area, and mostly meant for areas without solid rhythm (ie. Long held notes, transitions, etc). This would literally break the entire foundation of what the game is.
