So I just found out that playing LoL nonstop without playing other stuff or thinking about other things in between games usually gets me on tilt. I think taking 30 min~some hours to play other games helps in order to avoid the mental burnout. After having a 10 win streak or something like that I started to lose a lot because I was only playing LoL, whereas I played other stuff as well when I had my winstreak.

you guys know how league of legends in game mouse sensitivity settings are ass? you get in and no matter what you do your mouse is slightly slower or slightly faster than you're used to because of the awful 20 notch settings that don't match with the 11 notch windows settings. Also it lingers after the game unless you change your mouse speed then change it back. This is very annoying and makes me have to get used to my mouse speed every time i want to play either game [league/osu]
is there ANY solution to league being a dick that avoids using hardware settings at all costs? thx

Errrr I never had that problem. I use 1.0 in osu! (and you should too), default in Windows, default in League. You should only change your sens via dpi changing. That way it's universal AND you avoid delay issues with certain games.
This sounds like some sort of mouse acceleration issue. I've never had it in league, but I have had this issue with osu after peppy did a huge update a few years ago and it made the game unplayable (still kinda is) for me. I found a registry edit that removes mouse acceleration from your PC completely. It helped, but osu has never been the same for me since that update lol.Bassist Vinyl wrote:

My mouse actually has some extreme issues and tends to travel off-screen a lot. If I had my camera unlocked, that'd just be utter hell for me having to adjust my camera every several seconds.

I play with a locked camera because I'm left handed and I use default keybindings (I tried rebinding the keys on the other side and it was even worse...). It's actually pretty convenient for me cause I can easily reach shift/ctrl/alt in case I want to self/normal cast spells.

Lol, I use locked camera. I find I can't multitask at all so trying to move the camera while fighting just doesn't work for me.
It probably is like smartcast, the first few games you feel like it's impossible and sucks, but once you got used to it, it really is so much better.
Maybe it's just me because I am more of the real-time strategy kind of player (Age of Empires, Starcraft, etc) instead of someone who plays Diablo all day

smartcast aint necessary. plenty of top of the ladder players dont use it. RF Legendary only switched to smartcast because i recommended it but.. well i cant really tell if it made him better because at the top of the ladder climbing isn't really an option lolJustykanna wrote:

I got forced to learn how to smartcast and it's not fun, and no matter what, I'll still play locked on blue side 8) i think looking at minimap is much easier for me since even when I modify the mouse setting stuff, my mouse likes to flip out, maybe when I get a new oneeeeeeeeeee

I hate to play locked since it moves your camera constantly. In laning phase it is really relaxed to just move at the back at the screen and have the camera at one location. Unlocked also allows you to almost watch twice as much in front of you.

I was kinda hoping someone would try to counter pick Warwick by picking something like Mordkaiser against it, but knowing most pro teams they only want to play stuff that is overpowered or strong to the point there is little to no counters. This is why stuff like Warwick is working. It's as if people forgot what counter picking can do lol
Mordkaiser dumpsters on Warwick and it's quite sad people seemed too forced to play certain champions to think outside of the box in the pro scene. Hence why I rarely watch pro games anymore because it's almost the same 10-15 champions every game.

I seriously doubt that Morde is THAT good of a counterpick to Warwick (specially since he's AP, and a magic resistance build is the one that favours Warwick the most, by going Chalice>Wits End>Visage). Doesn't matter because Warwick will never have the burst to break mords shield. Mord just shoves him into his turret and he loses CS. I hate that match up as a Warwick main. You don't need to kill Warwick to win the lane.Snepif wrote:

Nasus is another match up I really hate.
Don't need to kill Morde to win the lane either. WW has much more roaming and TP potential. Morde has a... well... problem regarding mobility creep. Also, one gank and morde should be dead, he has no escapes and jungle+Warwick's ultimate is just too much for a guy with no escapes to survive (unless you go full tank morde which wouldn't shove the lane as much). However, if Morde's jungler ganks WW, Morde has no followup and remember what I said about Warwick's build: he will have tons of magic resistance. I don't see Morde killing Warwick even with a jungler, whereas I do see Warwick killing Morde with jungler's help, and I see him roaming a lot better, too. Anyway it's just on paper, I am well aware that it wouldn't be the best matchup for the Wolf, but I don't think it's the best counter and 100% go-to champ if you see WW in the opposing team.
That's the thing. You can't ignore Mord and if the enemy jungler has to invest a ton of time camping that lane your team should have already won through objectives and towers elsewhere. It puts the enemy in a bind and that's the point of the pick.
Just think of it like proxy singed, but not as extreme.
Mord might have been a bad example for competitive play, but the whole shove and out roam logic still applies.

Just gonna add to the locked camera discussion by mentioning that since I started holding space almost constantly (probably like 90% of the game these days), my mechanical skill on AD improved tenfold. I consider myself to have high diamond level AD carry mechanics mostly because of the consistency locked camera gave me. I started doing it because that's how Doubelift plays and I copied. :p

Went 10-12 supporting (which is my worst role) and 10-5 ADCing (which is my second worst role). Shrug.
Lesson here is to just enjoy the game. It's not that hard.
