It's not really hard with a tablet because of absolute tracking, it gets way harder with a mouse though

This is exactly what I was going on about before how your accuracy is determined critically on visuals and very little with your preferred playing method, hardware, or settings. Rhythm won't help you if you can't hit the circles in the first place.
