My desktop fan is pointing towards my laptop's keyboard in order to cool it. My laptop's fan doesn't put too much effort.
I always play with cold fingers. XD

Seriously though, your hands will be covered with sweat in a few minutes if you play with socks on your hands. It's a dumb way to warm up and I barely do it, but when it's especially cold in my room on a given day, I've found it to work well.

Bumping this thread because I found this amazing product to keep hands warm: the USB Futon Mouse Pad.
It's heated and looks damn comfortable. Too bad it's expensive.
