I almost feel like anyone can be a good ganker with a red buff slow. But yeah, his passive helps with that.Kanye West wrote:
GP was actually a surprisingly good ganker. Get red buff, e into lane, q to apply red buff and passive, keep autoing to keep up passive, q again for permaslow, rinse and repeat until dead. Oh yeah, and carry around a pink ward in case they run when you come into lane so you can take out their ward and come back again. And once you get ult, towerdiving is ridiculously easy.
Jungle GP isn't viable anymore not just because of his nerf, but also the nerf on jungle income and item combinations. Wriggles got nerfed hard, then warmogs + atmas got nerfed hard, so now you're basically required to build damage/critplank to be even remotely useful which sucks. It was pretty fun though, you could 1v5 with a wriggles and atmogs.
Like, just imagine his utility. Melee carry/bruiser hybrid with a permaslow passive, a ranged nuke that can crit, apply on-hit effects as well as his passive, a heal that's also a cleanse, a teamwide MS/AD buff, and a true global AoE ult with permaslow. At one point, he was firstpick/ban in competitive play.
Yeah, I build for Critplank every time. It's a lot fun. Infinity, Statikk, Omen, Last Whisper, Trinity, Boots. =) It just sucks that I'm almost always last pick, so I don't get top a lot.
Did they just lower his Q damage? I mean, he's fun now, I can't imagine what he could have had before.
Also a fun champion. =)Rukario wrote:
Soooo, Wukong is pretty good.
He was my go to champion for my 5v5 pre-made ranked team.
