Lower sensitivity (not necessarily DPI) - better aiming accuracy.
900 dpi and the resolution you mentioned are pretty good. I wouldn't call it low sens, but medium setting. And it's ok if your mousepad is not big.
I play 1366x768 (playfield is 1024x768) with 400 dpi and it's already very slow, so keep gimmesoup's settings.
Remember not to change osu! or windows sensitivity and tick the precision off in control panel.
