Everybody is so used to osu.ppy.sh that they're obviously going to have a biased opinion on this but I'd just say that "io" specifically looks weird since it's two vowels alone and i is a tiny letter... dunno it just feels really awkward as a domain segment.
still leaves me wondering why .io of all the simple domain names. i think it's the same reason why you chose .ppy for the current domainpeppy wrote:

Personally prefer osu.ppy.sh more. Donnu why, but osu.ppy.sh is very impressive to me.

I would prefer that the domain name not change. I am fondly attached to the current address.

Still not as good. I dislike small domain names. <6 characters is no good.

Nah, I prefer osu.ppy.sh too. It's the domain we all got used and it's unique as others said. :/
osu.sh looks way better than osu.io, and it's simple enough for newbies to memorize. I like it.

osu.io and osu.sh would really only work if this was a new game. I understand how short names = good names, but when the game is already 6+ years old with almost 3 million registered accounts, it's hard to convince people of the change.

once the .game TLD is approved i think osu.game will be nice, too.
It will be nice if both osu.sh and osu.ppy.sh are used.

I like osu.ppy.sh because I'm used to it. I wouldn't mind it being shortened to osu.sh, it'd just take some time for me to adapt. However osu.io looks wrong to me. It sounds like some weird war cry

I prefer the actual one yet I'd probably prefer another one if it wasn't because I'm used to osu.ppy.sh.
Nothing wrong with the others, but none of them are better than osu.ppy.sh, certainly. osu.sh would be a convenient shortcut if available, though
osu.ppy.sh has slightly more appeal than osu.sh.I would say this is because I've come to associate the trust the people behind osu have built with osu.ppy.sh.Change can be scary and I don't want something bad to happen to the osu I love
