That is correct. I should really put her in a better position but I don't like moving her; if her fan falls off it's a pain putting it back.Oinari-sama wrote:
Is... that Yuyuko on top of your chassis?
Dual monitors are great, I could never go back to a single screen. Even better having a 24" monitor for playing on.marcostudios wrote:

I haven't updated it actually. It's *that* good. I have made a version for Sublime Text, though, which I may post at some point.ZenoDiac wrote:

I've been curious about the value of using different types of amplifiers with headphones. In the past, I've only tried a few sources and noticed no real difference aside from volume when I used a small FiiO amp (not exactly what you'd call high end). Can't really test any amps at home without blowing a lot of money, plus my headphones are relatively low impedance anyway.peppy wrote:
The m902 was one of the most expensvie pieces of hardware I've bought in my life, but completely worth it. I use it to run my UE900s, UE TripleFi, beyer DT990s and apple earpods (don't underestimate those things when powered with a good amp – they sound quite amazing!). It has travelled with me over the years and served me well.
theres really little bootlegs of fiio afaik, fiio is so cheap already there's not really alot of money to make in making fake ones...Jarby wrote:
Oh, and by FiiO, I meant one of their palm-sized pocket amps. Possibly a bootleg since I got it on eBay years ago, but it didn't blow up, so I'm not sure anymore, though I still have it lying around.
+1 for this I bought an Audioengine D1 for the DAC for like $200 and the change was very minimal.... right now I'm using a little dot II ($100 piece) for my AKGs and it does well. The only reason I could see myself spending money on a new amp is if I had orthodynamic or electrostatic headphones.peppy wrote:
anything above a fiio is so marginal i wouldn't recommend going there until you know you have reason. even then, the highest i would recommend going is a dragonfly
