It plays either in your browser or as a standalone java app, it lets anyone host a server and automatically lists it, it runs flawlessly on most computers, and it's fucking FIRST-PERSON LEGO.
Here's a few screenshots I got when I was hanging out with /jp/:

Currently there's no way to save your maps unless you either host a server or pay for a premium account, but the creator said he's working on client-side saving.
You can save shit as .mine files locally or store them on minecraft's server if you have a premium account.
Minecraft is extremely addictive, and I haven't spent a day without it since I heard about it.
So, do YOU Minecraft?

Make sure you're signed in before you connect or it'll go into single player. I'll try to keep the server up as much as possible. If it's down whilst I'm online, shout at me in IRC.

I tried this back in the day, when it was in beta and all the cool kids (or at least /tg/) played Infiniminer. I should pick it up again when I have time to waste.

Also three boards have been namedropped in this thread.

Me likes. Also if Neo wants to we could move the server over to my VPS (as long as it's not too resource-intensive) so it'll stay up for sure.

Well, that didn't last long. Hurr new ip.
I guess I'll update my sig every time there's a new link from now on.
New map tomorrow, hopefully it'll come to around 8 times as big. Server'll be up by 9:00GMT.

Here's the map. Download: osu_minecraft.osu Change the extension to .mine for singleplayer or .dat if you feel like adopting it to start a server.

It was fun Minecraftin' with you guys.

Minecraft Alpha was here, Classic sucks.

It's amazing how simple and addictive this game is. The best thing is that it's keep getting better, it was definitely the 10 bucks worth.

Well, you have 1.0.15 which is rather recent. I can give you my account for you to update if there's any major update.
You should really buy it though if you like it a lot. Helping indie developers with 10$ is surely way more rewarding that throwing 60$ of your money at some billionaire fucktard that doesn't give a shit about you :P

But yea that's a dungeon, has a monster spawner (that you can destroy) and boxes with items in there. There are even some stuff that you can only get from dungeons such as an apple, vinyls or saddles.

hmm well like even if there was a major update, would the crack or w/e the hell the thing used still work or what? Since I had to extract the .minecraft from the torrent to %appdata% and it would automatically let me play offline, and I want those damn fences for my farm :C... and yeah I killed the spiders in the dungeon and it had those saddles, though idk wtf to do with them.
I also had to restart the damn worlds 3 times because it kept on having snow which made me a bit laggy


Edit: well oddly the only thing in the .minecraft folder is:
.minecraft > resources > newsound, sound

all of which are folders, but have jack shit in them, though I do start minecraft from minecraft.jar file..
also is there a way to fucking change the resolution of the game
