Last summer, I spent like, about a week over at my dad's friend's house. I was the only one out of my family going, and his wife and child were gone for the time I was there, and he was gone for most of the time pretty much, so it was quite nice and comfortable.
Anyways, one of those days, before he left, there was an, uh, odd conversation. It went something like:
Him: Oh, you don't smoke, right?
Me: No.
Him: No?
Me: Yeah.
Him: Ah... *turns away, probably avoiding an accidental conversation loop*
I think of this conversation on occasions, wondering what he thought I meant.
Just to avoid confusion here, I was trying to say I DON'T smoke.
Also, I actually miss his pet dogs :<
They were like, some sort of husky like dogs with white, grayish hair. I think the name of their breed started with a W, and it was the first time I actually enjoyed the company of a dog before (I honestly don't much care for my black lab, and I despise my chihuahua). There was one specific dog out of like, 6 he owned that seemed to really like me, even. If I recall correctly, its name was Bambi, and it pretty much followed me throughout the whole house, and even joined for the car ride back to the hotel where my family was staying at during the time.
EDIT:: Found the breed!~ It was a Keeshond. Here's a picture:
