Not the music, arken. I meant who wants to map the songs. I can provide mp3s for all of them.

EDIT: Get the maps from flyboy's thread here too. Also, the X-DAY2000 map has become a mess due to new things in the Taiko Mod (BG position, pippidon), so can I remove those and retime the map?

Okay, I need someone to help me fix up flyboy's X-DAY2000 map. I'm quite busy, and that map is going to be important very soon.

1. The mp3 needs to be fixed...I have a higher quality, can someone add this and then retime the notes and the storyboard?

2. Storyboard-wise, a few things have been added since the new builds kept coming, with pippidon there, Don looks out of place, and the foreground has become all misaligned. Can someone fix it too?

I'm trying to clean up his map since the storyboard elements have been introduced into public build. Also adding a higher quality mp3. (the current one is monaural, I've got a stereo version that isn't as grainy)

You don't make money by music that you think fits (which is most music, actually).

You make money by putting in music from popular franchises.

I mean, they even put in Pokemon OPs, for crying out loud. Someone should totally map those, though. I <3 those tunes.

EDIT: I cleared X-DAY 2000 up with the new mp3 and removed a few storyboard things. How does this sound?

EDIT: I'm looking at the Soroban chart on Wikihouse right now and some parts don't seem the same as I remember them... Like sequence 19... isn't that Ka~ Don Don Don ? And I don't think sequence 27 is DKKK either... I need to double check... or is this different as how it appeared in Nanadaime? Also, in sequence 94, is the last DON really on the 1/6?

Once TnT Wii 2 is out, I'll try to the best of my power to get an mp3. I already mapped Happy de Rippa, so you can have this :D

EDIT: Oh, the Soroban thing, I haven't really inspected it closely yet, but the current osu! version has the same notes as the ones on Taiko Wii...if they changed anything for 12.5 or something I don't know yet.

With that aside... @aqua: wow... 1MB. I'll still be waiting for the actual-quality MP3 though (and the charts :\) (and if it exists and if possible, the opening vid too)

EDIT: Ack? I have to keep putting red timing sections for the barlines to go proper ._. some parts of the song have the first beat jumping to a 1/2... (wait I can't word it properly. Let's just say some of the sequences finish in a 3.5/4 manner)

If there was somehow a way to rip La La La Happiness straight from the official site, do tell me~. That's the highest quality music as you can ever get.

Also, I might make a difficulty for this song before the official charts come out. This theme song is win :D That's the highest BPM for a Taiko theme song I've ever seen (190)

Yes I noticed it was 190. I'll probably go and map a non-authentic osu! map for that song for now so that I can get a feel of it (yeah, I must be so narcissistic feeling good with my own maps) before I map a TaikOsu authentic.

Also, I would like to request for the opening movie ASAP... :3

EDIT: I just now realized that its offset is indeed, constant... since the 3.5/4 parts happen two consecutive times, it will still follow a proper 8/4 (oddly enough) count.

Just like Numujika ac.10 then. But even if the beat finishes on a 1/2, the song will still follow the correct BPM. It won't show when you play the map.

I don't really know about the opening movie. There hasn't been one since TnT Portable 2.

No, arken. There's a theme song for every Taiko game. But there was no opening video for DS1, DS2, or Taiko Wii 1. Happy de Rippa doesn't have to be unlocked, as with every other Taiko theme song.

Yeah your map is following the old standards, but it's pretty cool nonethless (though it's very confus~ oh wait, the entire song is confusing compared to any of the charts anyway). I had a hard time FCing Insane even though I knew it was based on Muzu...

Most of them are already unranked Taiko maps, and I have Koibumi (Taiko-only) on BSS, but it's graveyarded. Taiko-only can't be ranked yet :/

I'm going to have to wait a long time.

EDIT: Oh, Zekira. If you do get Kita Saitama ranked, what should I do with the Taiko authentic set that I mapped? I don't want to waste it.

Okay, you're taken to the difficulty select screen. Go to Muzukashii and continue to tap the right kat 10 times. That's to unlock Oni.

Go back to Kantan and tap the left kat 5 times to go to Baizoku. 5 more times gives you Sanbai, another 5 to Yonbai, Doron, Abekobe, and then back to regular mode.

To unlock the secret songs...wait, I bet they have them unlocked already, so you shouldn't need to worry about that. To get to Urahumen, tap the left and right kat alternatively while on the title screen(after slotting in your coin) 20 times. Taiko 11 will display 'Hazure?', and Taiko 12/12.5 will have the logo shine golden, if you do it correctly.

arken: You're making Koibumi 2000? That's another set of my Taiko maps down the drain. With complete lyrics too. :| Oh well.

If you want to do this with Taiko 11,you must unlock 114曲 then do it :3.
Otherwise,it doesn't work :3...

As far as I know,most of the taiko arcades are
located in Kowloon,especially in Mong Kok or
Tsuen Wan.There are machines in IFC (in Hong Kong
island) but the prices are crazy so better not
go there.
I personally go to Dragon Centre,one of the
few arcade centres under-16s can enter.I'm
16 already,but still...

No, no, you misunderstood. I never said anything about not using my lyrics :P

I want to confirm one thing before I say anything else though. Is your Koibumi TaikOsu authentic?

Does anyone know what matty uses as the font for the lyrics? I'm thinking of prioritizing in mapping Taiko 7 PS2's opening as a christmas gift to the osu!Taiko community, and probably the osu! community in general too (I'll even ask it to be ranked on Dec.25 ahaha)

...(I also totally forgot the title of that song ._.)

Also, where's the link to the songlists of all the Taiko games released (can't find it since TM got taken down)

(...actually I want to map RaRaRaHapiness as my christmas gift but w/e, maybe do both, ahahaha)

(EDIT: Insanely enough I cannot find the lyrics for Taiko 7 PS2's OP)

(EDIT2: Oh wait, taiko site's listing doesn't have the OP of Taiko 7, wth? Or is it really Bouken Hiyori/冒険日和? Why the site has no lyrics, I will never know.)

(EDIT3: OK so it indeed is Bouken Hiyori so where the hell are the lyrics ._.)

(EDIT4: I failed. The opening movie HAS THE LYRICS. Now to figure out how to remove the Taiko scroll without putting in lyrics SB)

And also Mori no Kumasan (secret notes, who knew that it'd be so deadly?) Taiko 12 Remake was awesome!
