The difference is, the guitar controller is compulsory for Guitar Hero, but this isn't the case for Taiko. Since the drum accessories are so expensive and still break easily(for heavy Oni players), might as well stick to buttons, unless you play the arcade.

EDIT: Finished mapping Ryougen no Mai, secret song unlocked by the fifth code of Taiko 12.5. Considered harder than Rotter Tarmination Inner Oni by some people. A must try~! :D

In terms of first time playing this is hell a lot more easier than Rotter. But if you've pseudo-memorized both songs then this is agreeably harder... I guess?

I just can't play properly on osu!Taiko :\ if only the scrollbar is as long as it should be I could probably pass this easier (and that the scoring system is also authentic), since tbh I'm comparing this to be just like a combo of K.Sai and *insert anti-Zekira stream song here*

IMO Rotter is harder, but wikihouse put this song above it, and so many comments everywhere about this surpassing Rotter's difficulty, who knows.

Not the music, arken. I meant who wants to map the songs. I can provide mp3s for all of them.

EDIT: Get the maps from flyboy's thread here too. Also, the X-DAY2000 map has become a mess due to new things in the Taiko Mod (BG position, pippidon), so can I remove those and retime the map?

Okay, I need someone to help me fix up flyboy's X-DAY2000 map. I'm quite busy, and that map is going to be important very soon.

1. The mp3 needs to be fixed...I have a higher quality, can someone add this and then retime the notes and the storyboard?

You don't make money by music that you think fits (which is most music, actually).

You make money by putting in music from popular franchises.

EDIT: I'm looking at the Soroban chart on Wikihouse right now and some parts don't seem the same as I remember them... Like sequence 19... isn't that Ka~ Don Don Don ? And I don't think sequence 27 is DKKK either... I need to double check... or is this different as how it appeared in Nanadaime? Also, in sequence 94, is the last DON really on the 1/6?

Once TnT Wii 2 is out, I'll try to the best of my power to get an mp3. I already mapped Happy de Rippa, so you can have this :D

EDIT: Oh, the Soroban thing, I haven't really inspected it closely yet, but the current osu! version has the same notes as the ones on Taiko Wii...if they changed anything for 12.5 or something I don't know yet.

If there was somehow a way to rip La La La Happiness straight from the official site, do tell me~. That's the highest quality music as you can ever get.

Also, I might make a difficulty for this song before the official charts come out. This theme song is win :D That's the highest BPM for a Taiko theme song I've ever seen (190)

Yes I noticed it was 190. I'll probably go and map a non-authentic osu! map for that song for now so that I can get a feel of it (yeah, I must be so narcissistic feeling good with my own maps) before I map a TaikOsu authentic.

Also, I would like to request for the opening movie ASAP... :3

EDIT: I just now realized that its offset is indeed, constant... since the 3.5/4 parts happen two consecutive times, it will still follow a proper 8/4 (oddly enough) count.

Just like Numujika ac.10 then. But even if the beat finishes on a 1/2, the song will still follow the correct BPM. It won't show when you play the map.

I don't really know about the opening movie. There hasn't been one since TnT Portable 2.

No, arken. There's a theme song for every Taiko game. But there was no opening video for DS1, DS2, or Taiko Wii 1. Happy de Rippa doesn't have to be unlocked, as with every other Taiko theme song.

Yeah your map is following the old standards, but it's pretty cool nonethless (though it's very confus~ oh wait, the entire song is confusing compared to any of the charts anyway). I had a hard time FCing Insane even though I knew it was based on Muzu...

Most of them are already unranked Taiko maps, and I have Koibumi (Taiko-only) on BSS, but it's graveyarded. Taiko-only can't be ranked yet :/

I'm going to have to wait a long time.

EDIT: Oh, Zekira. If you do get Kita Saitama ranked, what should I do with the Taiko authentic set that I mapped? I don't want to waste it.

Tenjiku was ranked once but unranked :3...
I think 'osu diff+taiko diff' seems possible to be ranked[But I don't know about 'Taiko diff' only song] :3...
Or...?
