You know what a good wish for home Taiko would be? The availability of the Inner Oni difficulties :\

It doesn't, but the D-pad on mine already broke once. Good thing repairing it was cheap.crystalsuicune wrote:

The difference is, the guitar controller is compulsory for Guitar Hero, but this isn't the case for Taiko. Since the drum accessories are so expensive and still break easily(for heavy Oni players), might as well stick to buttons, unless you play the arcade.Malajax wrote:
For me,playing Taiko no Tatsujin without a tatacon is like playing Guitar Hero without a guitar controller. It's pointless. For osu! I'm probably going to have to start playing with a controller or keyboard since the compatibility is crap, but I'll definitely stick with a tatacon for a home release,

I mean I can't map the other diffs. if I'm not sure of where to base their charts on. Right now I just based Oni on the original but I'm not sure of the other diffs.
EDIT: Ow my hand OW
Do it :3aquabluu wrote:
Well, off it goes to the front page.
I'm also thinking of making a Taiko Trials ver.2 to accommodate new hard songs from Taiko 12 and up. Should I?

PS. How are we getting these high quality mp3s so quickly now? Leaks onto nico nico?
Rip off Youtube from things like these, then increase the volume on an audio editing software if it's not enoughRokodo [RL] wrote:
I love the song, but the difficulty sucks.
I think I should map a more sensible oni.

Are you going to map X-Day or are we using the version EkiBEN Mapped?
You don't make money by music that you think fits (which is most music, actually).Zekira wrote:
Yes I know (Monster Hunter is very popular here in our country) but... why that? I'm pretty sure NB knows other games that have music more fitting for Taiko?
I can map Together very easily, but it won't be the Taiko cover version though.Ekaru wrote:

You make money by putting in music from popular franchises.
I mean, they even put in Pokemon OPs, for crying out loud. Someone should totally map those, though. I <3 those tunes.
Yes, it's TV size mp3 :3Zekira wrote:
The TV Size will be fine (since I think it's just the same length anyway) for that, I guess.

EDIT: Ack? I have to keep putting red timing sections for the barlines to go proper ._. some parts of the song have the first beat jumping to a 1/2... (wait I can't word it properly. Let's just say some of the sequences finish in a 3.5/4 manner)

With that aside... @aqua: wow... 1MB. I'll still be waiting for the actual-quality MP3 though (and the charts :\) (and if it exists and if possible, the opening vid too)
