I voted for BRBP because of what you said about lynching vanilla townie > power role, but lynching mafia instead of town is still better. He could have claimed a power role, but somehow went for mafia. If he truly was pro-town then he would have helped us and not confuse us even more by claiming mafia.

Lol wot, those was my suspicion as well as Lybydose. People started to say I'm a scum buddy with him, simple change to prove them wrong.
Also I still stick to Lybydose too. At first I thought those was protecting him up, but that theory went off as Lybydose voted on him directly.
Which was also a bit more suspicious since that would be the 'right' move to do if he was a scum.
Well, might seem little irrational, but I will keep it as it is until the end of the day.

@NoHitter, I'm still newbie, playing this game for the first time and trying to catch up with the obvious stuff going on here. A vote for BRBP was a move to end the day faster and see how it goes.

So you voted him because you wanted to lynch a vanilla townie? That's how this post is reading to me. There's no reason to vote for someone you simply want a cop scan on.

Though I do see the logic behind voting people who are playing anti-town, regardless of what faction they actually are.

The 'OMGUS' is strong with those. fartownik on the other hand has shown the chainsaw defense twice, although the first could be dismissed as RVS. You (fartownik) also say that moving votes in a certain way is the 'right' move to make for scum, but the same can be said about the way you moved your vote to the wagon on "those".

No there was also a chance he could have been mafia too. Which is why mafia>vanilla > power in lynching. And i didwanted a cop scan but the way he was acting could have been a way to make him less scummy but it made it worse and felt really suspicious to me .

Raging Bull: The problem is that asking for a cop scan in the first place was a huge nono, and is something scum would want to do, as forcing the cop onto who scum would know is innocent means one night where cop is wasted. In addition, cop will still have to reveal his identity to confirm BRBP, since we cannot be sure the cop actually exists.

It also doesn't help that you jumped on the BRBP wagon after one has been started.

I'm mostly just running about like a chicken with its head cut off. A lot of RL stuff is happening randomly to me, but I'll stick with this game despite it being my first mafia game and you guys keep throwing around acronyms like they're outdated tomatoes and i keep needing to check wikis to figure out what's going on


consider me a spectator for this day. Maybe i'll start throwing around "fos" and "wifom" the next day. Maybe I'm good at this game. Maybe I'm not.

Well throwing WIFOM may or may not be a good idea.

Basically WIFOM is a "If I do this then... But if I do this then..." situation

For example
Let's say... we have doctor.
The most likely players killed here are lyby, NH, and probably me.
So we ask the doctors to protect us.

Scum would go like "But doctor might protect this guy, then again they may not. What if we kill a person besides these 3? But what if it's just a tactic so doctors won't protect them and expect us to kill somebody else? What should we do?"

Something like that

I thought about that but thought the doctor could protect him without revealing their identity. And i did not vote for BRBP without thinking about it first.

"Follow the cop" strategy basically cop claim, doc not. The doc will protect the cop every night. Worse scenario, doc being killed after the day this strategy implemented. If there is 2 cop or nurse, 1 cop claim, the others cop, doc, and nurse are not claim. Simple strategy, but effective. I don't like the worse scenario, but I like the strategy because this put mafias to WIFOM.

It's not the town's job to actively defend people that are probably town (except possibly information roles), rather, they should be actively hunting people that are scum. Do you honestly believe that if I showed up and said "I don't think he's town" that everyone would just be all like "oh, well in that case I'll just unvote"? What would that even accomplish? With absolutely nothing to go on day 1, letting a bandwagon like that sit around is going to give more interesting information that just randomly voting, and I didn't think anyone would be stupid enough to end the day so early.

If I simply unvote him right now people might rethink to the point where me and those are scumbuddies as if this was our 'tactic' to claim cop to get rid of the votes for him. Too young to die today. Well the thing is that the doctor has to protect him and the doctor cannot protect him every night. So most likely he will die in the third night. So we have to see who is most scummy and get those to scan them.

Probably might get fingers pointing at me but

I would probably choose between Lyby/tsukasa for those to scan. I know Lyby has the most experience probably in this entire game. He can easily persuade us new guys to vote for whoever he believes to be a threat to him. (Sheeping right? \:D/) And for Tsukasa, I feel like he is working with Lyby seeing as they were so persistent with those unlike other people who just voted for those.

There should be a couple of scenarios with one I think the most dangerous, so I'm not too sure also about those's claim if he thought it thoroughly.

There's quite a mafia WIFOM regarding me and lyby.

It's either:

1) One of us dies because we push them too much
2) They do not kill one of us and kill another, pushing out lynch the next day.

So yeah. Us not dying won't be too surprising

Also he doesn't vote you YET. He will vote you if Lyby, Hika and Kanye don't login until his midnight time. He simply prefers those to survive instead of you (this sounds mean, but I didn't mean to lol).
