I recently found out about the test server, and I had a nice idea for many players.
As I was trying to involve peppy with the idea, he just said I shall request it on the forums.
I would like to use the test server to make a small community. (maybe up to ~300 players?)
It's kind demoralising for some to always see the best players ranked on the top scores (like Cookiezi, White Wolf, rrtyui, ShadowSoul) taking all the #1 on insane maps, so we want a nice chance to be able to rank too.
It also gives those a chance to get good enough to change back to the normal osu! site later.
One of the biggest points is to test new features before we get those bugs on the main osu!
Everybody is able to test new features, but not everyone is able to rank maps.
(Maybe putting 1-2 ranking protection admins that take an eye for those people?)
The main points are :-
As someone told me that he dont want to be all the time there. Its really okay, it wasnt the idea to play ONLY there, just if you feel to play there.

- -People who want to play there should not be uberpro and should need supporter tag.
- -Users will need supporter to keep the tag in order to continue to play otherwise their score will be reset.
- -Thus a constant stream of funds to maintain osu! before it gets published.
- -I'll put a download server with all currently ranked and sorted beatmaps by folder (I'll make every week an updatepack to fill up the latest ranked songs)
- -more testers
- -A chance to experience the beginning of osu! for players.
- -Fun playing/ranking in osu! against non-impossible odds.
- -Maybe every week, a few beatmaps ranked?
- -We would like to keep the rankings with scoring as that reflects the beginning of the first osu! experience. (maybe just for a while)

maybe up to ~300 playersThis mean that only 300 players could login at the same time. AFK'ers would stay logged in.
Note: I'm not talking about the normal osu!
. So not just new players. It's also great because its a win-win for the developers of this game; some people will like this better, while at the same time, be testing out the new updates.
