I do like the map, what obviously means star.

As I said on IRC, colors do not match. Background is brown and sad, burst is blue, and hitcircles are all pink, bright and flashy.

First of all, resnap all beats!

The use of combo colours seems a little odd to me. Try to use 4 beats in 1 combo. It makes alot more sense. 00:38:09 (1,2,3,4,1,2,3,4) - Actually exactly what you did here. (and the rest of the map)
00:13:72 (1,2,1,2,1,2) - You can keep these colours because you are stacking two beats here.
00:35:28 (1) - Remove new combo
01:08:09 (3,1,2,3) - These 4 beats are offscreen.


That's about it for easy. You could lengthen the spinner at the ending a bit since it's [Easy].
End it at 02:10:903 * (Should actually be the same as in [Relaxing])

Relaxing:

Thanks! did most you mentioned, expect to inherit timing section, and the timing section for the spinner, I personally think it sounds better with no sound in the end :)

I still don't really see anything wrong ^^; I did pick up a few suggestion this time though.

Easy:
If people are saying the difficulty is too easy something you can make the overall difficulty higher. I find that the default (middle node) for overall diff. The notes are spaced enough so that it's okay.

Relax:

I love this map.
There are just a few things I found a bit strange.
First the hitsounds... They sounded a bit odd to me. I would have picked another pattern, although this is fine too.
And on Relaxing, the sliders on 1:44:184 and 1:59:184. I found if you make them a bit longer (quarter beat instead of 1/8), they sound better.
And then, on relaxing, there is the 1:46:997 combo, with 1 overlapping 2. That one felt a bit unnatural, because of the break between the two beats.
And then the last one, Vexed's difficulty.
The placement is a bit strange at times.
Look at 0:55:200 (3,4,5,6,7) and 1:03:637 (1) for example.
It wasn't really disturbing when playing, but I think the placement of a couple of circles should be double checked.

Anyway, a fat STAR for you :P

  1. Why is there an Inhereted section at the same time as the main section? That should NOT be allowed in any way! If you want it in half, half the BPM in the MAIN section! Also, why would you want the BPM halved anyway? Slider velocity is 2.60, meaning you can use BPM 128 and slider velocity 1.30.
  2. There is no audio sampleset selected right now... That's why the normal-sliderwhistle got mixed with soft.
02:07:63 (1) - Hmm, it might be better to end the final spinner at 02:09:50.

[Relaxing]
  1. Here, you only lowered the final spinner's volume, not like in Easy, in Easy you silenced the spinner completely... And they should also finish at the same time.
  2. There's an Uninhereted section, and it screws up offset.
  3. Also, main offset is different from the other difficulties.

I don't like the pulled-out-of-nowhere jumps... IMO they don't fit the music...

Do not change the offset unless a BAT demands. I play through and im only off by 1 ms average.
As far as jumps out of nowhere, lolz. I won't be changing those.
Also, My pumpit map Gens. The so called stacks needing to be re-stacked. That is called stack latency and it's the way i like it. They don't have to be stacked 100% in line. That is why osu has a latency slider. kthxbai.oops. Just looked and they are not stacked on the same grid as the slider. Oh well.

About the Kiai I will keep my opinion though, I still think it doesn't fits.
Also, no, I report Kiai everytime I notice it in an awkward place. I don't really notice Kiai in most maps, so everytime it stands out for me it's placed in a really weird place.

@Gens, I appreciate your modding, and I'll have a look at it tomorrow, right now I'm so tired that I can barely keep my eyes open, also, if you want to fight, do it in pm, Vexed, this goes to you too, don't fight in my topic please, I only want constructive criticism here.

As a side note, I originally thought vexed made the hitcircles, he didn't claim he made it, just said, here take these and used it, so I naturally thought Vexy made them no questions asked. I learned that Xiaounlimited made the skin and I PM and asked permission if I may use them or not, if he says no, I'll re upload without the hit circles.


Also, about the timing on easy, I was still learning how to use the editor and played around a lot.

I'll fix this tomorrow.

No need to sk to use something like that. The way it seems to be is that if the skin is an option with the download of osu, then it and any part of it may be used in a normal fasion. People don't like forced skins, so i borrowed something that i liked from it. As far as me fighting, well im having a rough time lately, which also transfers over to osu. Gens caught me at a bad time i guess. Naruti......grrrr.

Btw, I am very capable of making hit circles etc... but why do it if it is not necassary. I have photoshop cs3 and cinema 4D so i think hitcircles are the least of my problems. Made my sig in 5 min. :|

-00:36:21 (6,7,8) - The reason I suggested the new combo marks on all three was because of the fact that it would look less awkward that way. Having two beats and then a New Combo mark at this point is incredibly awkward.
-00:44:18 (1,2,3) - This still feels absolutely awkward to me. Then again, coming in during the middle of a phrase always feels awkward to me. :/

It sounds nothing like an anime song, though. There have been sexual songs with anime BGs, and they were classified correctly.

Let's be honest, you're human, you're bound to make a mistake. This is what happened here, guys. Just a goof-up, lots of people would make the same mistake, since it's basically an otaku who decided to give this map an anime BG and an AMV video for no apparent reason whatsoever. It's fine.

We're talking about "genre" of beatmapping, not "genre" of music. Somebody could have a science-fiction music video, even though sci-fi isn't a music genre. Every artistic medium has its own genres, which are just terms that arise to categorize things in a useful way. Anime maps and Game maps are common enough in osu that they are useful for categorization, so they've become major genres of beatmapping. That's the way I think of it.

In any case, the somebody here put the anime's title into the map's tags, so it's fairly forgivable for Larto to assume it's an anime map.

Except that the song is trance/vocal trance and has never been officially used in any proper anime to date. Whoops. Background/video doesn't define the genre of a particular song.

I or anybody else shouldn't have to do your job for you.

Aside from the bureaucratic horseshit, the map is pleasant to play and I'm quite surprised it wasn't ranked sooner.

Suggesting or correcting a genre is not doing someone's job for them it's being a decent person who just wants to point something out to be useful.
