Very nice. The latter part of that will REALLY help stop the whining/complaining. :) One thing I notice, though, is that "CatchTheBeat" on the sig button is going to get cut off for a LOT of people. Unless one's name is very short (e.g., Echo or peppy), it will. Is there any possibility of it getting shortened to "CtB" on the button?

Also great. Are old maps that had to be graved going to get cleared out too, or is that another manual process? (I'm assuming the latter, sadly)

EDIT: Also, in profiles, when clicking on the rank number in any section, it redirects to the osu! standard scoring pages instead of Taiko or CtB in their respective sections.

the codebit in peppy's avatar looks like C# to me and i know some C# myself so thats why i asked =P

and yeah most larger programs use more than one language overall, like for some functionality you'd obviously have to use php to integrate scores and stuff.

i <3 osu! its the only thing i play lol

Now it is possible have all sorts of different leader boards for maps. In the beginning there's the global all time ranking (what we have currently) and the monthly rankings (including the maps from that month and only the scores made during that month). Future? I guess no one knows yet. :)

Just for the record I won't be working on osu! until after the 6th December due to study commitments. I know there are a few outstanding bugs and if I find a bit of leeway I'll do a quick public release, but otherwise don't hold out for anything short-term.

It's good that you focus on your studies. We're all happy to wait. Besides, it's not like we're even waiting that long.

In addition, if your studies include things that will improve osu! in the future (which I actually don't know if they do), then we really have nothing to complain about.

It's actually a jp language proficiency test which I'm not taking for any reason in particular, but I guess it could help osu! if I ever get stuck in some business meeting or lawsuit with a Japanese company or two? >.>

Ha, yes. This happened to me too. Didn't mind it, but I'm glad it's fixed.
