Sorry that it took me so long to get to this. =x
[General]*I still don't care for the backgrounds, but if you like them.. :c
*Also, the letterboxing during breaks looks kinda strange with the backgrounds, so consider removing letterboxing from all diffs if you keep the backgrounds.
*Perhaps add a single kiai fountain at 03:35:443 since the map ends a little bit before the song does? (would look a bit nicer imo)
[Breath]*I'm a bit more brutal with easy difficulties nowadays, so let's see...
*Slider velocity is a bit faster than I expected (plus it's the same as Normal's?), but it's fine, I suppose.
00:08:834 (1,2) - I would really prefer if this were a repeating slider.
00:13:008 (1,2) - ^
00:16:660 (5,1) - spacing is a bit tricky. Either stack (1) on the end of (5), make it a repeating slider, or make it a longer slider.
00:17:704 (2,3) - overlapping patterns like this are a bit confusing, so try rotating the slider
00:19:269 (1,2) - ^
00:28:660 (2,3) - same as 16:660
00:33:878 (1) - short sliders with multiple repeats are too hard to predict on easy diffs, so try something else here
00:37:008 (3) - ^
00:55:791 (2,3,4,5) - fast paced 1/2 notes like this are a bit difficult for an easy
00:58:400 (1) - expected this to start on the previous red tick. Maybe just make this a non-repeating slider from here to 00:58:921?
00:59:443 (2,1) - same as 17:704
01:02:052 (4) - again, try to avoid multiple repeats on short sliders
01:16:660 (5,6) - spacing
01:19:791 (1) - repeats/spacing
01:31:269 (2,3) - spacing
*I encourage you to map this diff to the end like the other diffs, but I won't force you to.
[Dream]00:50:573 (1,2,3) - Try not to have these touching each other. Otherwise, 00:55:791 (2,3) are touching each other but have extra repeats. It just makes it confusing to predict how many repeats are on these sliders when the spacing is like that.
01:50:313 (1,2) - Didn't expect the offbeats, so how about making this a slider? (Plus, Love uses a slider here and it's a harder diff)
02:25:791 (1,2) - Perhaps make this a slider as well?
02:44:573 (1) - Maybe shorten this to the red tick?
02:59:704 (1) - ^
[Love]00:59:965 (1) - This would sound better ending on the previous red tick like in LIFE.
01:17:704 (1) - ^ (plus the jump after the spinner would be too big if you don't shorten this)
02:22:139 (1,2,3,4,5,6) - These are much more spread out than the streams earlier in the song. Plus, the spacing between each stream is a bit larger than expected... How about making these stacks instead?
02:44:573 (1) - Why is this a measure longer than LIFE's spinner? Please shorten it, and consider adding a note at 02:46:660 instead (you could add the note for LIFE as well).
03:15:617 (9,11) - (nazi) Try turning grid snap off and placing these notes like this:
http://puu.sh/qm4 Right now 9 looks off and 11 looks strange.
03:20:834 - Lowering the volume for these spinners like in LIFE would sound much better.
03:34:400 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7) - stacking looks a bit confusing to read (check in test mode to see)
[Eternal LIFE]*Perhaps raise drain one tick?
00:40:139 - How about starting the new combo here instead of 00:39:356? I usually don't combo mod, but some of your combos are super short while others are pretty long. (You might wanna adjust a few other long combos, but it's not that big of a deal)
02:26:052 (2) - partially hidden under the hitburst (100/300) from 02:24:486 (12). Horizontally flipping 02:24:486 (12) should work much better here.
There really isn't anything unrankable in this mapset, but I do feel like the quality could be turned up a notch (at least with the combo ordering, since many combos are really really short or long). I decided to go through LIFE and re-combo in a more intuitive fashion to give you an idea of what should look better. I personally try to give each measure its own combo, but you can follow your own ways to combo as long as it's
consistent. The current maps aren't very consistent which is why I'm giving you this example.
You'll see that I didn't always start a new combo right on the downbeat of a measure (long white tick on the timeline), since many times a slider will start on the red or white tick before the new measure. Then, there's places that look strange like 02:13:791 (8,9,1,2,3) with a new combo in the middle, so you can do whatever you want with that. Don't be afraid to have a (1) by itself like on 02:43:008 (1), as this looks pretty nice imo. I gave the lead-in at 02:46:921 (1,2,3,1) a new combo to give you something to think about, but you can make them just one combo if you'd like. Of course, adding extra combos for patterns like 03:19:791 (1,2,3,1,2,3,4) is totally fine too! I thought that a new combo for 03:35:443 (1) might look nice for the end of the song, so you can take a look at that too. :p
Lemmie know after you've made changes and I'll gladly take another look for a potential bubble.
