I doubt people really give a shite as to whether a user is male, female or hermaphroditic. You'd have to be quite daft to support this.

Why is it important to have gender signs on osu!...
- 80% of osu! players wonder it's a boy or a girl.
- 80% of osu male plays are mistaken a girl because of a female character on their current avatar
- It's really disrespectful of mistaking 50% of males for a girl while chatting.
- If it's not added/approved, the whole game will be in a embarrassing situation.
It's not like half of the community will say they're the opposite gender of they actually are o3o

Supporting this as long as it's not being abusive especially because of this reason that bugged me:
-Typo: "someone" has changed their username to "someone"! (Occurred when someone has an osu! supporter tag)
"Their" is a plural, but supposedly most people have their separate account, so should it be "his" or "her"?

adding this feature would take away from a lot of the mystery and effort involved in you know, cordially interacting with a person for long enough to distinguish their gender among other important aspects about them.
i don't even see why this even matters, so this isn't really a feature i can get behind.
