1.1 During intro, breaks, outro, even on map selection screen or chat, I tend to tap s/d vigorously (I use s/d for tapping).
1.2 I spend most of the time spinning my mouse (except during gameplay, unless it's a spinner)
1.3 Sometimes I move my mouse like I'm hitting some "invisible notes". Vigorous tapping will then follow.
1.4 I do the previous 3 all at the same time.

2. When I fail a map, I just press alt+tab unconsciously.

3. All that tapping I do when playing osu! actually affected my finger movements when I'm not using the computer. I now "tap" my left knee or any surface that would make some sounds.

I stick my tongue out to concentrate. I also twist my head sideways while spinning. I spin counterclockwise and tilt my head left

At the end of a song I click the eyes of the background character, or any round object when there is no character, or their eyes are closed.

Heart racing like running away from demon when my life in osu is almost depleted playing a songs which barely can pass. If pass then i rest a while, but when i resume playing the mouse feels like extremely heavy to move...

I really only started playing this month, but I sit at my desk like I'm at the piano.

On the edge of the seat with wrists up. It prevents strain. It looks hilarious. My roommates made fun of me :)

when i use mouse i switch to osu default skin for those big 300's

i don'tknow why, but it looks sexy ._.

1. I dunno whether this should be called "habit" or not, but physiologically, my palm's always getting sweaty so it REALLY REALLY REALLY annoys me when i play a long beatmap. I think this is one of the biggest handicap for a mouse-only player like me T__T

2. Shivering when almost reach the end of beatmap and when i see someone spectating me

3. Click "retry" instead of "resume" when i pause the game. FFFUUUUUUUUU

Seriously if could overcome this, everything would be easier T__T

When I stream over 240bpm or if I'm not warmed up and do long 200+ bpm streams my shoulder seems to dislocate causing some really bad pain when I move after streams. I have to slowly lift my hand in an upward direction during breaks breaks to prevent the pain.

When I play, I apparently move my lips like I'm saying random words.

If I'm playing a really fast song and there is a spinner I will spin up until I hit the spinner threshold and stop after that so I never get extra points.

I have some sort of mental block on certain songs where I can't hit any notes on certain parts.

If I try to FC a map and I break on about 10 occasions in one sitting I will always retry over a single green; Furthermore if I'm trying to pass something I struggle on and I fail it enough times I will start restarting the map every time I miss.

If I'm in multi-player I press tab until I can see the "scoreboard removed" text, this usually makes me fail if it doesn't get removed because I start spamming tab.

I do trick jumps even if no one is speccing me.

I like to make it appear as if my cursor is lagging by waiting until the last second to move it on slower maps or 1/2 parts of maps.

If I feel like I'm doing bad I always check to see if I have vsync on.

I always change maps if someone speccing doesn't have the map.

I will never download a map if I don't have it while speccing.

I won't stop spectating until the person fails, pause or finishes a map.

I keep a bag of dust chalk handy for my sweaty hands.

Sometimes I start to think about my blinking when I play. This normally results in agonizing eye pain.

I tend to always end a stream with my index finger (which i also use the initiate streams), even if the stream ends on an even number.
Also i get nervous when I'm about to do a good FC, or while under pressure (specs, multi etc)
And last, I regrip my mouse way too much, between notes as well when i think i have time. most stupid thing as it often results in a miss.

I like to grind for FCs on songs I couldn't FC when I'm awake, when I'm half asleep and can barely see the notes. This is also normally accompanied by spinning when there's no spinners.

Same here, also when I'm finishing hard songs, or songs that I know i'm going to rank if I finish it while playing HD or DT+HD, and suddenly miss a easy lapped note :/

I can't play if I don't cross my legs.
When I do particularly fast streams, I bow my left toes.
I always press F8 during breaks and answer PMs if the answer is short enough even if I know I'll fail the map. I also start to take the mouse and raise it up from the desk repeatedly to get better grip.
When I'm in the song select screen, I singletap F2.
I always spectate a lot even if the player is playing silly/easy maps, and I don't live until the player fails/change map.

Panic when I'm better than I expected or when having failed nothing until the middle of the song with Flashlight.
Continue the rhythm or make my own fitting to the song in Taiko/Mania
Think too much when I almost fail a note. I fail the next one in 95% of all cases.

Lately my head has been tilting to the right while playing. This has never happened before until now. I'm wondering what could possibly be causing this while playing osu! Maybe it's just because I've been playing more and my ugly habit has finally revealed itself.

1) Whenever my combo breaks in the first 20 seconds of a song I restart.
2) Since I spin in very small circles, I end up spinning in the wrong area, causing me to miss :/
3) When playing slower songs, I end up hitting the doubles to fast, causing me to miss :/

I AFK spectate/ spectate and then spend most of my time not paying attention. Then the spectator messages me about some awesome thing they just did, and I wasn't paying attention to it.

When i'm getting a high combo in a map, my mouse hand starts to tense up, and difficult to move causing me to miss and ragequit =3=

When I'm SSing my pinky finger tense up like mad, start hurting. Then my left hand start tensing up like mad, start hurting. Then my whole left arm tense up like mad, start hurting, until the pain is too much and I stop playing.
Also do that when I'm playing high bpm (over 220).

Actually, I enjoy playing osu on my sisters computer whenever I get the chance (she's got a tablet). It's one of those things that won't affect you unless you know about them :D

When I manage to keep a combo on a tough song and there's a long break near the end, I close my eyes, flex my fingers, take a deep breath and am like "I'm gonna focus really hard now". Doing all this stuff makes me lose the rhythm of the song and miss immediately after the break.

i'd imagine closing your eyes is enough to make you miss already




weird habit i have would prob be stamping my heel with the beat of the song when playing and also improvising in break

If I have to alternate between z/x keys, afterwards I'll alternate between them along the beatmap until I confuse myself and forget to hit a single note resulting in a miss. :C
