My apologies for appearing late. I suppose you know my situation, so I won't spoil the atmosphere here.

I've been talking to neo@lex about checking up on every singer in this collab by scheduling a date where everyone will go online to vent (or on the #osu channel if the first option is unavailable, though I'm hoping for vent). There, we can discuss on the progress of the collab and the recordings, and possibly even get to hear some of you sing so I can give some advice. Somewhere along the first or second week of September would be fine.

As I won't be able to stay here for long (at least for a couple of days), I'm leaving the authority to neo for the time being. Hopefully he'll be able to decide on a date for the meeting, and even more so that I be able to get online before then.

Hum, right now I'm on vacations in a place where internet acess is really sparse, and it'll be very hard for me to be on the meeting, but, on the other hand, half of the house is empty which gives me lots of room to sing.
Only downside is that the meeting will be at 1 AM where I live - people will be sleeping, so I won't be able to talk, much less sing...

Anyways, I'm recording my parts, and I'll try to be present at the meeting.

Derreku - All good. American accent is amusing, but nothing is bad.
Takuma - Good singing, background noise interferes at some parts, vyt may ask you to rerecord some bits. You need to do Gatcha Gatcha Cute, too.
Miku - VSQ, WMA, WAV or MP3 please. I can't open NEGI files. Convert them or rerecord in Audacity.

For the outro, just say "[username] here" or "[username] desu" if you're more of a weeaboo. Additional one-liners can be recorded at a later date.

Some Notes:

Personally, I'd lend myself a few space of silence before the actual singing. I recommend doing this so it'll be easier for me to edit the files without cutting some of the audio.

For those singing songs that fade out like Makka na Chikai to Airman, please record yourselves singing the songs INDIVIDUALLY. I will do the fade-in via Audacity.

How I personally recorded was:

*Had the karaoke version of KNND playing on winamp at a low volume
*When it got to a couple seconds before the song, I'd hit record in Audacity
*Record
*Stop Recording
*Pause Winamp
*See if my recording sucked or not
*If it was fine, save; If it sucked, start over

I was surprised that I'd get the longer songs I did in 1 or 2 tries, but shorter ones that were like 10 seconds I wasn't happy with until I recorded about 8 times. I hate my voice

After much delay, the recording phase has already started. Right now, about half of the members have given me their recordings. We still have to do something about those who we haven't seen for awhile, but expect that it'll be finished soon.

For Okkusenman, you sing the first verse (after the last urutoraman! you're done. Then it's "demo ima ja sonna..." for the 2nd part where Pas and I come in)

What program do you open .zip files with? There should be an option to make a zipped folder that you can put your files in =x

Larto: Just like the many songs you've sung. It sounds a bit muffled but not much more than mine does. It's not a problem at the moment, but you may want to look into your lyric timing.
Lilyko: More moe than a loli Mikuru. There is a little sound distortion but it's not really noticeable.
Derekku: Awesome Okkusenman... in America.
