Offset 14047 seems better to me, though still not sure about BPM (! get a professional timer if you can !); do not forget to resnap all your inherit sections and move them according to the new timing (for that, just mark all of them in the timing panel and move them by the needed amount of ms)

Warning, I switched Offset and BPM somewhere in this mod so it'll link to "wrong places" in your local copy so change the Offset first; about the BPM, I don't have too much of a clue for that but you will recognize the patterns I am talking about anyways, though timestemps might be "broken", this is caused by BPM-tryarounds...

  • 00:14:033 (1) - I do not see a reason for the red point and the bend in the end here
    00:14:885 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8) - not too sure if consistent distance suits the best here, for example, I get the impression of 7-8 having a stronger impact in the song than 1-6
    00:16:802 (1,2) - come on, this is a huge-ass mirrorjump without a reason, don't do this; there is no epic loud "BOOM"-ish sound in the song to justify that, just arrange it in a more calm way

    like that maybe?


    I like this because the sliderends are bent to point towards each other which gives it more of a belonging-together feel

    00:18:293 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8) - same as for 00:14:885
    00:20:210 (1,2) - same as for 00:16:802
    00:21:701 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8) - this feels like a good idea for the soundpattern of 00:14:885 / 00:18:293 ; maybe keep such an idea in mind and build other patterns based on the spacing-relations in this one (because pattern-recycling is meeh and not-so-nice)
    00:23:619 (1,2,3) - this seems more fine than 00:16:802 / 00:20:210, though I think you could replace 3 by a CTRL-J, CTRL-G-ed version of 1, also adding another circle on next 1's location to keep the slider-circle style of this pattern
    00:25:323 (2,4) - i don't enjoy these bumps in there; do not feel or see a reason in the song to add these (also, about the pattern, one-axis-patterns feel meeh and suchs; in adition, 2 and 4 get too close to each other with their reverse point locations which feels awkward to me but that is mostly artistic); they give a stucky feeling which is not too flow-improving
    00:27:451 (3) - if you want a slider here, it'd have to start on the white tick because there is the reasoned sound for it; replace the current start with a circle and arrange to your likings (though I do not really see the point behind that little snaky shape?)

    00:28:515 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8) - as for similar patterns before, I feel more impact in 7-8 than in the pairs of circles before, might do something about that
    00:31:919 (1,2,3,4) - 3-4 get another sound to them in the song so it feels "stronger" and thus they feel as if they should have more distance in-between them than 1-2, also, the current overlap is somewhat not-too nice because the sliders nearly blend over each other and that... lets say is not pretty
    00:33:834 (1,2) - no reason for the bumps in sliders here, also, the mirrorjump is kinda wide and if you want to have one, I suggest a CTRL-H one instead of CTRL-H/J combined; in general, sliders should lead into the objects following them which would be the case if you used CTRL-H here instead of CTRL-H/J
    00:37:238 (1,2,3,4) - that jump is huge, please scale it down, that's nearly the whole playfield without a specific reason
    00:38:727 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8) - I find this too clustered; 1-2-3-4 will partly overlap 6 with their hitbursts and that is not a too good feeling; I suggest moving 2-3 a bit more down and widen their distance, putting 5 down aswell and placing 6 a bit different; after that, you can also arrange 7-8

    as in, this or smth


    This will not cause overlap-errors and gives more of a fluent and constructive feeling to me

    00:40:642 (1,2,3,4) - use changed 1-2-3-4 of previous combo in mirrored version here, suits better aswell imo

    00:44:046 (1,2) - still not a fan of the bumps and mirrorjumps of these, they lack flow as they do not lead into each other and their movement and shape are stucky
    00:46:387 (5,6,7,8) - I suggest scaling these more up so they do not overlap with the hitbursts and -circles of 1-2-3-4, also gives more of a growing feel which is pretty neat in this case
    00:47:451 (1,2) - mirrorstuff may be bettered out to lead into the respective next objects (1 -> 2, 2 -> next combo)
    00:48:940 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8) - this is a very harsh and evil pattern as it requires wide- and short movement to be switched continuously which is hard to do on cornerjumps, I suggest replacing this with something that flows more and is more consistent to not have people go like "oh DARN this pattern I can't get through this" because I assume that'll happen to many
    00:50:855 (1,2) - the usual about these slidercombos, I find them too wide and unflowy
    00:54:685 (3) - do not see the reason for snaky-ish slider here

    01:06:068 (1) - I think this spinner should start somewhere around ~01:06:812, on the big white tick
    01:09:365 (1,2) - I find these too upscaled in distance, as in similar mirrorpatterns
    01:14:684 (1) - this speedup here came very sudden and without any expectable feedback from the song, please do not do this, it does not seem fitting
    01:16:174 (1) - the overlap with previous 1-2 is pretty not-so-pretty so please change that and use another shape or smth
    01:17:450 (6) - bumpy slider seems unfitting as the ones before
    01:18:088 (1,2) - well this mirrorpattern is more k, guess you can keep that distance
    01:29:017 - the kiai is ending pretty suddenly, could you try to give it a better transition to nonkiai?
    01:31:705 (1,2) - the overlap is meeh here
    01:33:195 (1,2) - this is very highly scaled again, I suggest CTRL-G-ing 2 and adjusting the following circles so there is not such a huge distance in this pattern because the kiai also ended before
    01:35:110 (1,2,3) - this should be a very more downscaled pattern since the song is decrescending very strongly (meaning it gets less strong); also, 3 should not have a reverse arrow but end where the arrow currently is and you should add a 5% volume spinner behind it that ends at about 01:39:153 (big white tick around there)

Impression: This seems pretty creative, though the map still has use for polishment and more workout - also, a big concern here is the timing but that is for the whole song.
I like the pattern variety at parts.

Why do you use 1.5 SV if you just got 1.66x inherit everywhere anyways?
This is modded on the original timing/offset so the timestamps should fit pre-change.
If similar stuff occurs as in Insane, I will tell you it does and won't go on on long reasoning because you will recall that anyways.


  • 00:14:033 (1) - bumpy slider makes no sense to me as mentioned in Insane
    00:15:098 (2,4) - well these snakies are more k than the ones in insane, though still, I find them a bit questionable
    00:16:163 (5,6) - I suggest CTRL-G-ing these because 4 points towards 6 and thus people will play that first, it makes more sense in flow.
    00:16:802 (1) - this is too closely spaced and will likely be hit too early; also, the overlap with 4 makes it feel awkward at the current position and I'd recommend you to have it take flow out of the 6-1 motion rather than point-to-point 6 and 1 and then go into 1's curve -> try to keep and ongoing, smooth movement
    00:16:802 (1,2,3) - not too much a fan of this stop-go movement here, why not space them out
    00:16:802 (1,2,3,1,2,3,4,5,6) - oh this is lazy; apply the same stuff as for mentioned above
    00:21:701 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8) - I suggest variating in spacing here; keeping the same zig-zag-distance is somewhat boring and you had more variation in Insane aswell - don't upscale too much though
    00:27:666 (2) - use a CTRL-H/J-ed version of 1 instead of trying to rebuild, that works better for this kind of pattern
    00:29:583 (4) - ^
    00:32:565 (3) - compared to previous patterns, this circle is somewhat widely spaced, consider scaling it down
    00:33:418 (5) - ^
    00:33:844 (1,3) - these are not properly symmetrical, please work that out without gridsnap on
    00:35:548 (2,3,4) - the sliderbows here are clunchy, also, 4 is a bit uglyishly overlapped by 2-3 and their hitbursts
    00:37:891 (2) - CTRL-H 1 here

    00:40:660 (1,2) - no fan of this because of the big spacing and most likely a probable abuse of slider leniency by players (as in, they will jump out of the slider before it is finished and 300 it anyways)
    00:43:004 (4) - work this more out so it has the exact same shape as 2 (for that, CTRL-H it and play around with the sliderpoints until it overlaps it perfectly, 100%; turn gridsnap off for such stuff)
    00:43:643 (6,1) - that distance is wide; whole playfield in 1/1 is too far for a hard diff, consider CTRL-H for following part/pattern?
    00:45:560 (1,2) - these feel too clunhed because of the low distance and sharp angles between the red sliderpoints; stretch it more out and suchs - also, 2 should start 1/2 later and there should be a circle on where it currently starts (for rhythm and consistently in suchs, that is)
    00:47:477 (1,2) - no fan of this stop-go, but it should go k if you want to keep it; you should work the curves more out though, they feel unbalanced and too harsh at parts
    00:48:542 (3,1) - again, this distance is kinda wide for a "pause moment", also in a hard diff
    00:48:968 (1,2,3,4) - I'd like you to have more variation in slidershapes here, also, due to the distance in-between the objects, these might get misshit as 1/4 instead of 1/2-"breaks" from object to object
    00:50:246 (4,1) - again, a wide distance for a break moment
    00:50:885 (1,3,4) - Jenny does not enjoy one-axis-movement, consider a more bowy-flowy shape, also leading into the next combo
    00:51:098 (2) - clunchy red points are clunchy and do not make sense to Jenny, as in Insane, please consider change
    00:52:377 (1) - you could make this blanket 2 or smth, just a suggestion tho
    00:52:377 (1,2,3,4) - one-axis-pattern again, please change
    00:53:868 (4,1) - very wide movement again, not too sure if that fits

    01:06:010 (1) - same about the spinner as in Insane
    01:11:336 (1,2,3,4) - the distance between these is very inconsistent when compared to similar combos earlier, please change this so it is more consistent and readable, right now it looks like 1/3 spacing
    01:13:892 (5) - correct the shape without gridsnap so it has 100% the same form and flow like 2
    01:13:892 (5,6,1,2) - these feel too clustered, especcially because of their hitbursts; consider spacing out or arranging so they do not overlap/recycle each other's positions too much
    01:16:448 (2,4) - clunchy redpoints again

    About the little kiai here: I find the slider variation more appropriate here because the song turns into a more different tone, though, you might work on balancing your curves and shapes more out.
    01:24:969 (1,2) - let these blanket 3/4 correctly; for that, turn gridsnap off and play around with points

    01:29:869 (1,2) - the distance here is quite huge compared to the rest of the map but I thiiiink it could be k
    01:30:721 (5) - redpoints feel ugly again
    01:32:425 (2,1) - again huge distance for a "pause moment"
    01:34:555 (5) - redpoints
    01:35:833 (3) - as in Insane, a spinner with 5% soft-volume after this would do well
Impression: More balanced and with some more workout and care this diff could probably get to something neatly to play - the current state is still a bit clunchy and parts are unflowy but you can work that out.
Main advice here is to keep consistent movement and flow, especcially letting sliders lead- and play a more major role in(-to) it.



RikiH's Normal:

I suggest a custom slidertick that uses a soft clap for use in longer sliders to continue your hitpattern correctly.

  • 00:31:926 (2) - ^ that, and also, you can balance this more out and make it really symmetric
    00:34:057 (1) - symmetric needs more workout here aswell
    00:35:335 (2,3) - I suggest changing these so 3 starts on where 1 ended, gives a better feel

    00:43:856 (5) - that might be me but this feels too close to previous 3, move it further away; also, I suggest building an equal triangle out of 4's end, 5 and 1's starting point; a bit more systematics and aesthetics may suit well
    00:47:690 (1) - adjust this to blanket 2 and go better with its approach circle

    01:09:418 (2) - you could use the above-mentioned slidertick on this slider to continue your clappattern
    01:12:827 (2,3,4,5,6) - this square feels a bit clunched because of the angles between 2-3 and 4-5 which do not have the same amount of degrees as 3-4, 5-6; make it more equal
    01:14:957 (1) - a bit pickyness here but you could arrange it so the slidertick is exactly in the "peak" of the slider as in, where the red point is
    01:16:235 (2) - again, a custom slidertick with a clapsound would go well with this

    01:26:460 (2) - ^ (also, I like this shape)
    01:28:590 (1) - let this blanket 3's approach circle (as for everything with blanketting, turn gridsnap off here)
    01:29:869 (2,3) - I find these a bit too harsh, they do not lead into each other too well; consider change of angles here
Impression: Pretty solid, though, polishment will do well and improve the overall fluid feel, nice job, keep going.


Final Words // "Judgement": As for a first map, this is pretty okay and I can tell it feels way better than my first ones to me so if you keep going and keep on improving I think you will definitely go somewhere - go ahead, map for what you see in the song, feel the music and don't obey the ratings! (Honestly, that is important, following ratings will make your mapping monotoneous bullcrap... at least it does for many people so please don't try it out)

New combos are used correctly when I skimmed through it. Hitsounds are a little underused.

Just brush over it a bit. Seems like there's plenty of claps, but missing finish/whistle. Maybe it's intentional idk.

ascoltando c'è qualcosa che manca nel ritmo, secondo me dovresti aggiundìgere uno slider a reverse come quello sopra quando compare un ritmo simile 00:15:736 (1) - secondo me ci sta benissimo perche se no consiglierei di usare il tick rate 2 invece di 1 perche si sente il vuoto nello slider (si sono una filosofa)
00:25:109 (2,3) - dato che hanno una forma di loro rigida perche non renderli più gradevoli alla vista allineandoli (?) :

Sarebbe bello uno storyboard adatto alle nightcore,se non c'è la canzone perde molto del suo potenziale soprattutto nella normal,dove ci sono svariati momenti di pausa tra un beat e l'altro. Nella insane invece non si nota,grazie al flow e alla frequenza di jumps
