Well while we're trying to revive Mafia in the osu! world...
I suggest we focus on newbie games first.
Get alot of people to play mafia again. This does not mean we will only host newbie games though... We can still make other games, though we would have priority to newbie games.
Regarding this. We should have a signup topic for newbie games. Similar to the signups in

6 newbies
2 Semi-experienced players
1 Inexperience Challenged player.
Semi-experienced players (Or SE for short) are players with experience but are not fully qualified to be "teachers" of the game. Basically these are not-so-newbie-newbies. SE players can also be experienced players but don't have the "patience" to teach newbies the get-go of mafia games.
IC players are very experienced players who are in charge of teaching the basics of mafia games. They should be nice as well. But they should know how to separate being nice and playing the game. They must also be commited to play mafia. Finding an IC is hard enough. Finding a relacement for one would be a nightmare. For more informations on ICs, Please reffer to this wiki link:

A list mod is required to start this. A list mod governs all sign-ups for games. They must keep track of game-ins and mod-ins. And the list mod is the only one with the authority to give you permission in starting the game. We should make a sign-up queue similar to this:
