2. a sponsor
host(s) make the game, sponsor offers osu subscriptions/whatevertheyare to the team that wins
advertise in-game on osu
have a morality clause for the sake of retaining the new players
presto you have more people

Not too sure about this. People get agitated enough in this game; putting more on the line might make the game a bit too serious and put too much pressure on players.Two wrote:

Wow this hidden mod just gave me an idea about an "anon" mafia game (eliminating meta).
I lack the capacity to host but that could be a tool used for such a game.

The biggest problem here is people who sign up and sit around inactive. Big sites can easily replace people, but we almost always have problems around here. I'm actually surprised that the two replacements in the current game are actually active, most replacements here post even LESS than the person they replace.
Yeah i didn't do much on my first game since i had no idea what i was doing, but the thing about newbie games is that there should be at least ONE person that is willing to teach them.

The unranked matches are usually casual, full of conversational people but mostly newbies.
