Ah, I misunderstood you with good reason, Shotgun Symphony+ [Impossibly Intense] has absolutely no correlation to Lemon Tree [Most Crazy!?] in terms of sensibility. Whereas SS+ is a map which makes sense but is madly fast and tricky, Lemon Tree was random, nonsensical, and super fast with an incorrect BPM setting to boot.


Now, StrangeProgram here, is another map which makes perfect sense, but is really *really* difficult. It has more in common with Marisa (DJPop) than it does with SS+ (awp) however. The rapid sliders at the end, for one thing.

Still, what exactly is barring it from being approved?

It's not badly mapped, just difficult, and isn't that one of the reasons why the approved category was made in the first place; to give a spot for maps like these?

I think the only thing here that is too unfair is the ninja spinners on Lesjuh's Tag, even if it going for apporval I feel that it should SS'able by auto. That's just me though.

I have to disagree on that one. For me, a good map doesn't *have* to be SS-able. In fact, I find rapid spinner rhythms (such as in Wizards in Winter, Kioku no Keifu, and this map), to be quite enjoyable to play through.
1) They are not difficult, just keep on spinning through them,
2) the sound of several spinner swooshes one after the next can add a pleasant sound to the music.

The only issue seems to be with scoring, i.e they can only get a (50) or (100). And as for that, I think maybe either the scoring on super-short spinners needs to be adjusted to make (300) possible, or just nevermind and accept the fact that 100% accuracy is unattainable on that map.

The only type of spinner usage I am against is putting several spinners in a map that exceed 20-30 seconds. This is nothing other than tiresome to a player, and only serves to make your arm sore.

I support this being approved someday. It's a well-made, fun map. It's passable.

The spinners aren't all 300able but they're cool and fun as they are, I think something like this should be acceptable in the approved category.

just so you know the spinner was added there for lulz (i belive) and if anyone would have mentioned it to him seriously he would remove it. but everyone is so afraid of modding this while its completley fine and almost fit for ranking <_<

im just gonna mention one impossible thing for Tag players. keep in mind that this map has 215/430 BPM which makes notes on the time line really tight. then again these are just suggestions to make the game play better.

03:24:60 (1,2,3,4,1,2,3,4,1,2,3,4,1,2,3,4,1,2,3,4,1,2,3,4,1,2,3,4,1,1,1,1,1,1,1,1,1,1,1) - this is way to much. while its possible on solo, i doubt it is possible to play this in tag. remap imo or make it more visible (and maybe 1/4 space between each combo).

00:48:04 (1) - hidden return point. (just a little annoying :P)

Are you really sure? Happy fixed the combo colors after we tested it and everything should work fine now. Maybe some players could test it.

I feel like, despite the "Approved" status, this could still use an easier difficulty. It's a great song; I'm sure others would like to play it but would not appeal to the extreme diffiiculty of either map.

Lesjuh's TAG:
00:47:49 (1,1,1) - These look really ugly. I understand what they're supposed to do, but they're ugly, imo.

02:13:37 (1,2,3,4) - Stacks like these bother me since they're different rhythms

That ending is just...... wow.

I changed the ending on happymix a little bit.

You just hold the cursor in the middle and press a fast as u can :o

or you switch holding buttons every 1/2 note

I pass that all the time. I guess you mean "passing" is "passing without breaking the comboes"? Well, I kinda agree with that point but I believe that somebody can play this map without breaking the comboes.

While the storyboard is ridiculously distracting, the map is still passable. (except for those with epilepsy; you people stay as far away from this map as possible).
