You gotta go from different angles and shit.JInxyjem wrote:
The netherwart selling sign isn't working. I think it's looking the the block version of warts instead of the item version.

your conduct in this thread alone is ample cause enough for markie to kill you several times, imotheowest wrote:
Oh, let me just kill a new player to see what gear he has. I haven't seen any of it, so let's just kill him. What kind of logic is that? That's obviously not the cause rule two describes.
Second, buttersea tried to kill me, and since you're both from the same nation, town, clan, married together, then I guess you broke rule 3 too.
I was just starting out on the server, ran not too far away from my settlement which I had just started working on where you killed me.
There you go, shame on you.

If you wandered off far enough, the chunk would have been unloaded. Only loaded chunks are productive, I.E. plant growth, like sugar canes. If you want them to grow reliably, stay within 64 blocks of them. If that doesn't work, then it's a server-side issue. =/James2250 wrote:
Lots of lag todayHave to keep re-digging the same blocks over and over (and isn't just me). Someone making lots of animals again? (Not my fault this time lol).
Also sugarcane randomly stopped growing for an entire day, wonder if that is related to server in any way.
Of course. But it was still bad loginLunaticMara wrote:

Towny will lag if you use flatfile on a populated server.Ephemeral wrote:
i say tentatively now that lag issues should be gone forever. turns out towny is a terribly written plugin and has to be tweaked to oblivion before it functions properly on high population servers!
I found out it depends on what you're carrying in hand. Holding Steak seems to work very well.JInxyjem wrote:
There's something wrong with the trading signs, they take sign nearest to your head instead of what you've clicked on, so any sign on foot level can't be accessed.
That's not intended behavior, it should work either way, it just depends on what sign you click on ._.JInxyjem wrote:

server is running on cb++ built to latest recommendedCorin wrote:
Our latest build is 2.9.4.2 which is specifically for 1.3.2.
This is most likely the reason why.
Also yes it's a prebuild but prebuild just means it's for a beta version of Bukkit.
I assume "neutral" is wilderness?. The chests you put down are instantly locked to you, but anybody can still mine in your mine, if they can find it.Ouariasse wrote:
i'm still new to minecraft but are our mines and stuff saved even if they're in neutral zones?
Yeah some just made me pissed like Economy O_o But mc jobs would be usefull for this one.... It just sucks gathering money only with selling stuff. And i have to walk over there all the time.... With mc jobs you could gather less money but stil something without selling :/Azure_Kite wrote:
I think we've got enough plugins as-is.
There is no latest recommended build of 1.3.2, only 1.3.1.Ephemeral wrote:

on top of the lag issues, i think that an auto-restart every 6 hours is probably essential at this point. i've fixed the netherwart economy sign as well.
I saw that a week ago, its pretty cool!Stefan wrote:

Ephemeral told us to use the tutorial. I know for a fact we can use the "trade" signs, so that's enough to trade money and items via signs.MillhioreF wrote:

That was me, when I was collecing snow and the tiny edge in valhalla was the only place that could be used. You can kill it if you want, I made another snow farm somewhere else.Stefan wrote:

That's true, but exactlly because someone can attacks you, and you may have no protection (armor, weapons, etc) it totally sucks if someone kills you. I support the Idea with the arena.OnosakiHito wrote:
To be honest, I'm fine with PvP. You never know if someone is going to attack you.
I think this has reached a point where it is going to be a never-ending "disrespectful vs not-against-the-rules" argument. I don't even care anymore.whymeman wrote:
It's totally disrespectful.
As long as no one cares the fact that osu! icon won't be anywhere near spawn, it's all good. Valhallans returned enough wools and tools anyway.whymeman wrote:
You just killed someone trying to make a scaled osu! icon. :~|

i suppose i've reached the end of my entertainment for this relatively vanilla server. it was fun though. might log on every once in awhile. don't really know. depends on the direction of the players and the server.
As for myself, I prefer the vanilla minecraft server, but if we start taking mod installation request from people, I think it might become uncontrollable.OnosakiHito wrote:
Then it would be nice if you could add Mo's creature into the server, after it got updated to MC version 1.3.2, because with more monsters/animals the server would get more "colour". Obviously some more mods which contribute special events to the worlds nature would be nice as well.
I agree with this. I can't build any awesome stuff because It's too hard to gain massive resources for almost anything. (scaled osu! icon was my limit of pixel art :S)JInxyjem wrote:
The thing about the second world is not that it's flat, but that it's creative. Sometimes it's nice to just share your creations with others, without having to go on a resource hike if what you're building requires that.
not me.JInxyjem wrote:
Also, does anyone have a problem with the server map? I can't zoom in and move the map around for some reason.
