I believe that you haters are just abject cowards who can't criticize the map in detail.
Don't worry, it's common when a map gets ranked to get this kind of rating. You only need one or two guys out of all the voters to give it 1 to get such a rating. I can already tell you, it WILL get higher as time passes. Rising in the Sun had the same thing, it dropped to under 8.0, and now it's at 9.0!
The star rating is only really reliable around 400-500 votes.

There is so much wrong here I don't even know where to begin.
Map voting isn't solely determined by how moe the song is. This is a stupid assumption that is clearly not true.
Map voting is based off map quality, song choice, and presentation.
Map quality is how well the map plays first try, and how fun the map is overall. If the map has readability issues the rating will suffer.
Song choice is pretty obvious, but doesn't matter as much as you people make it out to be. If the song sounds awful, people will rate lower, but just 'bad' songs won't change rating significantly.
Presentation is how good the map looks. The video, storyboard, skin, and background come into play here and are very important.
This particular map has good presentation and good song choice. However the map itself has serious readability issues that make the map extremely irritating on the first play. Because of that, the rating is lower. If needed I can show you exactly where the readability issues are, but this post should explain enough.

If bad maps are ranked MATs and BATs are responsible too. Don't put all the blame on the mappers and think about what the team that approves them needs to do so bad maps don't get ranked.

@Charles445: I threw a gag but you replied with a documentary, ok then should I say 'your map is really bad so you got low rate hahaha' while the mapper is quite irritated due to low rates? I thought you guys don't like flamings? I never expect to see such a reply for not-so-significant comfort post for a fellow mapper.
