While I find this to be true for a large part of the fanbase, it's worth noting that artistic perfection isn't necessarily the goal of many people. If you really do want to get better at your art, then yes, real life figure studies and forays into the realms of artistic theory are important, but a lot of the people who draw anime without strictly adhering to certain artistic rules aren't doing it strictly to study art - they're doing it for the sake of having fun with it.failboat wrote:
