Challenge Queue (round #1 finished!)

what does this queue do?

use some challenge rules to find and mod high quality maps. we'll use some special rules each round besides overall rules, you need to do some hardworking stuffs to get a mod
overall rules
  1. post your own map which is finished and has at least 12 SP and enough mods
  2. please pay attention to this, if your map/modding skill is not good, you'll has less ascendancy than others

rules
  1. we accept 32 slots this round, 4 in a group, so there are 8 groups
  2. every group member need to mod other members' maps(the maps in the same group of you) before the deadline(so if you post a bubbled map, it may be popped after others' mods)
  3. every group member need to vote a score for other members' maps and modding(the members in the same group of you). and send the scores to me in a forums pm after deadline(each score limit is 50, for example, you vote a member's map as 30 and modding as 40, then the overall score is 70)
  4. if anyone can't finish modding before deadline, he'll lost the corresponding modding score
  5. challenge will go on when there is 1 member quit from a group, the left 3 members need to do the same things as before. and it will stop when there are 2 or more people want to quit from a group, or we can merge the groups if there are too many people quit
  6. we'll count everyone's score and the highest one in each group will earn a mod from 1 of us(each group has 1 winner to earn the mod, so there'll be 8 winners)

Then , It's only 8 ppl from 8 group who get highest in that each group will get mod from your modder , Just only 1 from 4 each group@_@ ?

i think it was supposed to be 4 ppl in one group, or am i wrong here? o.o
so, i interpret it like this, if i'm not wrong:
1.1 group consisted with 4 people
2. 1 group modding other's group maps, since it was consisting with 4 ppl too, so it would be like M4M on each group(?)
3. We vote each other map's quality, and how good each group giving their mod to another group, and vice versa
4. the group who have most votes will get BAT/MAT mods.

here is GMT+8, but I think this is fine, cuz I didn't say 20:00 or 12:00 on that day, 3rd the whole day is the deadline

It's not your fault, wcx. People who participated in should do from start to end. If you permit to quit easily, other participants will be given trouble.

I'm just kinda worry about that it may makes the other members annoying if someone quit after his map is modded by the other ones. but seems Envi is ok with this, and the other 2 didn't mod your map, so I think you, Philippines, can join to this round instead of -Sekai-

and here's some question.
Imma already mod -Sekai-'s map, and she's quitted this after i'm mod her map.
then, if philippines replace her, should i mod his map too? then i must mod 4 mod overall then O:
except if -Sekai-'s also give a vote to my mod/map and then quit from this round, then i think it still can be considered

Things turned out different than planned. I had to delete my mod. See? It wasn't so obvious after all.

I modded her map, she told me that she was leaving the competition, and that I had to delete my mod because she was tired and wanted her map to get ranked. So, no, I dont have to, at least not hers.

since there are some people want to quit this round, I temporarily added some rules about this
challenge will be go on when only 1 member quit from a group, it will stop when 2 or more members quit
also the deadline is coming soon, pay attention to this

Cool rules, I may have a try next round if I have a finished map.

Some points I want to ask...

  • *What if someone gives others low score? (Just because he is strict)
    *If a group has only three members, they'll only have to mod 2 maps, and they may have more chance(1/3) to get mod than other groups' members (1/4). Is that OK?
    *Also I'm not sure about bubbled map...

* for avoiding this happen, I'll take a look at all scores and when I found someone vote very low scores to others, I'll put him into a blacklist
* we can't stop anyone when he want to quit, right? besides this, I think the difference between 1/4 and 1/3 is not too big (but 1/2 is much different from 1/4, so it'll stop when 2 or more people quit form 1 group)
* we also have many BATs in this queue :3

Well, the rules are simple and understandable. If someone participated, I don't know why he/she leave soon after the round is started. o.o I also wanted to participate, but I decided to wait until the 2nd round.

Hey guys, i think it is a normal circumstances if a player quit in a game (even a significant game). The opponent will get through easily, but that will not lead to any unfairness.

I disagree. Rules are very clear from now on, and there shouldn't be big problems. It happened to be confusing before because of the leavers and all that but now we all know what to do~~
Also, this queue isn't just a MAT/BAT queue, remember you also get 3 m4m's, which are supposed to be very useful because everyone will give his/her best in order to win.

Yes, this queue means, try to do 3 m4m（s）, and if your map is good enough, you will get a mod from MAT/BAT. lol

Also, will it open again when dead line comes or later? :3

Edit: I hope you can keep this rule next round :3

Good modding also counts. Not just Good Mapping, but I know what you mean.
...and yes, techically this is a triple m4m queue (plus a mod from a MAT or a BAT if you win the round).

Giving a bad scores is a right to partcipant. But be sure give any valid reason why you give him/her a bad scores. Be reasonable >.<

Wcx, if other people send score to you , I think it must have reason why do you give this score to other people?

Because it's prevent someone give very low score and put into your blacklist ;w;
